Chakra Mountain Meditation

Visit this healing mountain and its surrounding forest and spend gentle time, one-by-one, with each of your Chakras: newly illuminated, balanced, empowered and peaceful. A soothing journey for body, mind and energy to help you shift back into centring and wholeness.

Transcript

Mountain chakra meditation.

Coming to find a comfortable seat.

Perhaps lying down cross-legged or on a chair.

If you feel comfortable coming to close down the eyes.

And let's begin.

You're walking through a forest.

Ferdant green with light filtering through the leaves.

A beautiful path is opening in front of you and you can feel the earth and the soft mossy grass beneath your feet.

You hear birdsong and there's a crispness in the air as the blue of the sky filters down through the leaves.

You feel light,

Peaceful and knowing exactly where you are going.

As you see the mountain gently emerge and you are struck by how beautiful it is.

How drawn to it you are.

And as you emerge from the forest,

The trees bidding you love and celebration on your onward journey,

You pass through a beautiful meadow full of flowers and as you slowly and steadily make your way towards mountain it greets you like an old friend.

Reaching the base with the blue sky above you notice the entrance to a cave.

It's red and warm and welcoming.

And you go in,

You immediately feel safe and at home.

It's covered in rugs and cushions and blankets.

There are red crystals embedded in the walls and ceiling.

And you decide to sit here a moment in the middle of the cave and have a meditate,

A moment with yourself,

With mountain.

And inhaling deeply into the base of your spine,

The base of mountain,

Surrounded by red,

The earth,

Groundedness,

Home.

You exhale and feel a softening,

A strengthening in this area.

You are sitting and facing,

Looking out of the cave and just noticing as the base of your spine sinks down into the earth,

Like roots connecting with the base of mountain,

With the groundedness of you.

Knowing you are home,

Safe,

Loved and feeling powerful in this truth.

Either staying here or if you're ready,

Gently just noticing as those roots detach,

The knowing of them remaining.

And turning back to thank the cave,

Feeling strong,

Powerful,

Safe.

You slowly enter out into the bright sunshine,

Noticing how beautiful the day is and noticing to your right,

A path that leads up mountain.

And choosing to follow it,

You come up circling mountain until you come across another cave.

This one filled with rugs and cushions and silks and lanterns of orange.

And you feel a warmth and a movement in your body of creativity and emotion and freedom.

And so you enter this cave,

This cave of the sacral and taking a moment to just recognize the creativity that flows through it.

The freedom and celebration of sexuality.

Perhaps you dance naked,

Perhaps there is an easel,

Perhaps an instrument,

Perhaps a book.

Noticing if you are drawn anywhere in particular.

And then in your own time,

Coming once more to sit in the middle of cave,

Breathing as part of mountain and mountain sacral chakra.

And looking out of the cave into the beautiful world.

Noticing how you are bathed in an orange light.

Noticing how your sacral chakra is balancing and lighting up.

And being with this for a moment.

Perhaps you're ready to have a stretch,

Move your body and slowly turning to thank cave once more.

You turn back and step out into the beautiful day.

Feeling freer,

More open and continuing up this path around mountain.

You come to notice another cave on your journey.

This one bright yellow,

Sparkling,

Covered in citrine and joyful crystals.

You come and stand this time in the middle of cave and feel this yellow light and your solar plexus magnifying and celebrating you.

You are bursting with power and flow and spending some time here.

Allowing this knowingness and trust to flow all around you,

All within you.

You are full of self-belief,

Self-knowing and with a great smile on your face,

You say thank you to mountain,

Perhaps raising your arms in the air.

Grinning,

Feeling wonderful from the feet up,

You step back outside into this gorgeous day.

Waving at the sun and the trees and continue up mountain and soon enough,

You reach the heart of mountain.

Beautiful cave filled with green and pink rugs,

Cushions,

Silks,

Depictions of love all over the walls and the greatest warmth and purity of love you have ever known.

A deep peace resides in the heart of mountain and so you enter this sacred space.

And allowing your heart to be touched and open,

You give thanks.

This time facing into mountain,

Facing in towards the love that is inside,

The love that is in everything and you give thanks to the heart of mountain and to your own heart.

And filled with this divine love,

You slowly come to leave the cave giving thanks,

Knowing you can return anytime and you continue up mountain,

Gliding peacefully,

Feeling safe,

Open,

Confident,

Powerful and loved.

Coming towards the top of mountain,

You notice a blue cave and going in,

You notice how you are bathed with a blue light and an evocation of communication of all that you now know,

Of all the love that moves through everything and a call to spread the truth of it throughout the world.

And in this cave near the top of mountain,

Perhaps you sit again and inhaling into your throat space,

Your throat chakra.

As you exhale,

You allow any sound,

Noise or words that have previously been kept down to emerge without attachment,

Just letting them flow forth and release into the world.

And allowing the love from your heart space to move up and greet the blue that is growing in your throat chakra and allow it to be infused with love and knowing that you should keep going,

You thank this cave,

You thank mountain and continue up to mountain's peak.

Where there is one final cave,

The third eye,

Indigo in color,

Sparkling with crystals and truth.

You come and sit at the mouth of cave,

Knowing that just above you,

The peak,

Mountain and you are connected to the divine.

And as you sit here,

You hear angels singing,

You hear the truth of the divine,

Of the love that is,

The connection between all,

And you allow your intuition to awaken,

Allowing this knowing to come through you from the divine,

Through to you,

Through to the world.

You feel so alive,

So purposeful,

So grateful.

And giving thanks to this last cave,

The third eye and the crown,

The peak of the mountain,

Vowing in reverence of mountain,

Of yourself,

Of all,

You slowly retrace your steps on this quest and come back down mountain,

Passing each cave,

Each chakra,

Which you have now illuminated,

Befriended,

Balanced,

And coming to the foot of mountain,

You give thanks.

Your old friend will always be here and you know you can always return.

And crossing back across the flowery meadow and back into your love-filled forest full of green,

You come to rest a while and process all that's come in,

All that's shifted,

And finding a perfect hammock high up in the trees,

You allow yourself to rest and just be.

And in your own time,

Taking a big inhale into the body,

And exhaling,

Coming back to the now,

To the moment,

Just noticing how you feel,

Giving thanks to yourself and knowing you can always return here,

The chakra mountain,

And realign your energy centers with your authentic self and with truth.
