Thank you for joining me for this meditation on the goddess Parvati.
Begin now by finding a place where you can comfortably rest.
You may sit or lie down.
Now begin to allow your eyes to close,
Your gaze to soften,
Turning the awareness inward,
Feeling your breath flow in and out,
Just resting.
As you rest here,
Begin to call upon the energy of the goddess Parvati.
Parvati is strength,
Commitment,
And devotion.
She is unbreakable willpower.
She is strong.
She is a mother.
She is a wife.
She is devoted to love.
So begin to bring in some of those qualities,
Feeling them circle around you.
And as you do,
Reflect upon a question.
Ask,
O Parvati,
O Mother,
O Goddess,
O Queen of Aesthetics,
How may I invite more love into my world?
How may I invite more love into my world?
And just allow yourself to rest.
Allow what comes up to come up,
Almost allowing yourself to be a curious observer of your own mind.
As you ask Parvati,
How may I invite more love into my life?
And as these thoughts and answers come to you,
Honor them.
Take them in,
Whatever you're seeing,
Whatever you're feeling.
Allow it to come into your consciousness.
Allow Parvati to guide you,
To help you to open,
To give,
And to receive.
And when you're ready,
Let all of those thoughts and feelings and images just dissolve for a moment here.
Allow your mind and body to rest.
And gently opening the eyes,
Ready to see with awareness of love.
