Shakti is a divine energy that is within and all around us. We can use this energy for manifestation, creation, empowerment, intention, and more. It connects us to the beyond. During this meditation, you will be encouraged to relax the body and allow yourself to feel the Shakti energy within and around the body. You’ll connect with that energy as you reflect on an intention that you want to set for yourself and others. This is a brief meditation, perfect for those who need a quick connection or are just starting to explore Shakti energy.

Thank You meditator for joining me today for this Shakti meditation and I'd like us to start today by simply finding a way to bring our body into comfort into stillness and ease and that might mean you're lying down or sitting up.

Perhaps you're going to bring a cushion underneath you or behind you or maybe a blanket to keep you warm.

Just check in with that physical body and see what it needs to add a little more comfort and then when you're ready just begin to allow the eyes to fall as we draw the awareness to the breath that gentle movements of the inhale and the exhale.

Shakti is an energy that is within all of us.

It's usually thought of as divine feminine energy but it can be found in all things.

Shakti is that force behind life.

It's the swirl of thoughts and emotions.

It's the energy that makes our body run.

It's the energy of the cosmos.

It's the energy within us and beyond us and when we understand it better we can use that energy for so many things.

For creation,

For intention,

For manifestation.

We can use the energy to connect beyond ourselves,

Connect to the cosmos or to our spirituality.

We can use Shakti energy for self-empowerment.

We can integrate it into our body.

So today we're going to simply sit back and reflect on that energy.

We're going to feel that energy in our body and use it to set intention for ourselves.

So as you rest here begin to picture a white light all around you and it's the most beautiful light you've ever seen.

It's comfortable.

It's warm and that light is filled with strength and security as well as love and nurturing.

And every time you breathe in,

That light draws into your body,

Draws down through your chakra and fills your whole body.

And that light is Shakti energy.

And every time you breathe in,

It fills your body.

It reawakens the Shakti energy within you.

And begin to feel your body filling with that light.

Begin to imagine it merging with that light inside of you.

Feel that Shakti energy reawaken,

Revitalized in your body.

Almost like a magical tingling within yourself.

Feel that energy revitalize you.

Feel that strength.

And as you breathe out,

You breathe out Shakti energy.

And there's always enough.

There's more coming in and more going out.

You're breathing in that energy.

You're breathing in the cosmos.

You are connecting deeply.

And as you rest here,

As you connect with your internal and external Shakti energy,

Begin to bring awareness to and reflect on an intention for yourself or for others.

An intention you'd like to set.

An intention that you would like to bring your Shakti energy,

Your Shakti strength to.

And perhaps bring your hands to heart center,

Feeling the exchange of energy from your hands to your heart and your heart to your hand.

Sealing in that intention for yourself.

And just take a few moments now to bask in this Shakti energy,

This internal strength,

This wisdom.

Knowing that this energy is part of you.

You are this energy.

You are this strength.

And any time you need to tap in to your Shakti energy,

You can close your eyes and allow yourself to feel this magical tingling within your body.

So when you're ready,

Just begin to bring awareness back into this space and this time.

Feeling your physical body rest.

Maybe take a breath or two.
