In this meditation,
We are going to be closing our eyes and visualizing.
We are going to visualize the immense feelings of self-love.
So if you haven't already,
Go ahead and close your eyes.
You can get the clicks and the ticks out of your shoulders,
Out of your neck,
Do some shoulder rolls,
Some neck rolls.
You can be lying down or seated for this.
Let's find our breath.
Let's take a deep inhale through our nose and exhale.
Now let's think about the top of our head.
We're going to scan down our body and start here.
At the crown of your head,
The very tip of your scalp,
Scan down to your temples and release any stress and worry that may be there.
Scan then down to your jaw,
If you feel that it is tight,
Go ahead and let go of any tension or stress in your jaw.
Then we trace down to our throat,
Feeling if there's any blockages there.
Coming down to our heart,
Feeling love and gratitude for what we shared at the beginning of this call.
Continue down to your belly,
To your hips,
Tracing down to your knees,
Your shins,
Your ankles and out through your toes.
And let's find that breath again,
If we haven't taken a deep breath in a while,
In through your nose and exhale.
Wherever your thoughts may head during this meditation,
Gently allow them to fade.
Place them down beside you and if they continue to come into your mind,
Be gentle.
It is okay that they are here.
Let them know that they will be there when this meditation is over.
And you can pick them back up,
But only if they serve you.
Let's take one last deep breath before we start our visualization in through your nose and exhale.
Visualize yourself in a place of beauty,
Wherever that may be to you.
Whether it is in nature,
By water,
A forest or in a cozy home.
Let the feeling of safety wash over you.
Let's take a breath.
As you are walking around in this beautiful space,
You see someone sitting on a bench.
You gently approach them and you sit down next to them.
You don't say much at first,
But you feel connected to them.
You feel that they may be feeling unloved and you want to comfort them.
Let's take a breath with that person that you are sitting next to.
A deep inhale.
Hold it and exhale.
After this breath,
You turn to look at this person and they look back at you.
You see that it is you.
You are looking deeply into their eyes,
Feeling everything that they are feeling because you are one.
You open your mouth to speak,
To tell yourself everything that there is to love about you.
To love about yourself.
What do you say to them?
How do you feel?
With the words and the feelings that you are expressing to yourself in this beautiful place,
On this cozy bench,
Continue to share with them.
Reach out and hold their hand if it's calling to you.
Continue to look deeply into your eyes,
Into yourself,
Into all that you are.
I want you to take three deep inhales and audible exhales at your own pace.
Breathe in all that you are.
Breathe out anything that you are not.
What you have told yourself that you are,
Whether this is not enough,
That you are unloved.
Exhale that out.
Breathe in love for yourself and what you are sharing.
And exhale.
After you shower love to yourself on that bench,
Embrace yourself.
Whether that is wrapping your arms around yourself or just holding their hand and giving them a squeeze.
And say to yourself,
I am loved by myself.
And now it is time to leave yourself on that bench,
Your other self that you just spent time with,
Showering them with so much love that they deserve,
That you deserve.
And you allow them to have that space to take in all the love that you shared.
You say goodbye,
But that you will see them soon and that you will feel them within you.
You walk away beaming with the love that you created there,
The unconditional love that you shared with yourself,
That you reminded yourself that you have.
As you're walking into the distance,
Take one last refreshing deep breath.
And you can open your eyes.
