Use this practice for a quick grounding and balancing. You can come to this whenever your heart is heavy or your mind is busy. This practice is done best, if your feet can be flat on the floor/ground beneath you while you practice. It is simple, yet should give you some relief and help you relax.

Welcome to a quick grounding meditation for when you are not feeling yourself.

You could be feeling off-balance,

Upset,

Ill,

Spacey,

Scared,

Or overwhelmed.

Whatever brought you here,

Just know that we'll be able to release it here.

It is best for this meditation if your feet can touch the floor beneath you.

This means you can stand or sit with feet flat.

If you decide to stand,

Make sure to not lock your knees.

Take a deep breath and close your eyes.

During this practice,

I want you to try to take slow,

Deep breaths.

If you want to,

You can place your hands on your belly as a reminder to fill it with air.

Relax.

You are safe.

Imagine you are in a beautiful,

Natural place with bare feet on the ground.

Imagine the earth beneath your feet.

Is it sand warmed from the sun?

Is it rich,

Wet soil?

Is it covered with grass or other plant life?

Really imagine it and try to feel it with your imagination.

Now we'll think about whatever brought you here,

Whatever feelings or thoughts that are causing you stress.

I want you to imagine them to begin to work their way down your body into your feet.

You can imagine these thoughts or feelings as a color,

A liquid or air coursing from your heart or mind down your torso and legs to your feet.

Take your time and let the negativity begin to flow into your feet.

And from the soles of your feet.

The earth is happy to take this burden from you because it will turn it into a nice fertilizer to create new life.

So let it all go.

Keep breathing and let it all leave your system.

As it's the toxins are leaving your body.

Roll your shoulders,

Breathe deeply start to release some of the tension from your body from the negativity you've been holding on to let that go as well.

Let it all go into the earth.

Take a deep breath and think the earth.

Slowly move your feet around and open your eyes.

I hope you feel better.

Namaste.
