Group meditations like this can be a great way to bond with those around you.
I'm so excited you decided to do this today.
Before we begin,
Make yourselves comfortable.
You may sit or lie or even cuddle together.
Once you are comfortable,
Take a deep breath and close your eyes.
If possible,
Place your hands on your chest and feel your heartbeat.
What does it feel like to you?
I think it's like a tiny drum that keeps my body strong.
It also is a place we give and receive love.
With your eyes closed and your hands still on your heartbeat,
I want you to imagine the color green.
It can be a light green or a dark green or even have sparkles.
Feel your heartbeat and imagine the color green.
Now imagine this color filling your whole heart space,
Your chest and your back,
The whole area.
You can imagine it any way you want,
Like a cloud or a flower or smoke.
Now think of the people doing this meditation with you.
Think about why you love them.
Think about why you love yourself.
Think about all the kind things you do for one another.
Now imagine your green heart space connecting to each of your loved ones.
It can go through like smoke.
It can connect like water.
You can imagine it like a beam of light connecting to their beam of light.
Imagine it however you want and you don't have to limit it to the people in this room.
You can imagine your heart space connecting to anybody you love.
Send them love and feel their love return to you.
Feel your heartbeat working to send and receive that love.
Take a deep breath and smile.
You are loving.
You are loved.
You can slowly open your eyes.
