Jennifer Meek is a Certified Yoga Therapist, C-IAYT, trained by the Niroga Institute in Berkeley, CA. She specializes in working with incarcerated youth and people with PTSD, food & body image challenges, chronic pain, and anxiety/depression. She believes yoga is NOT ‘one size fits all’ and therefore seeks to empower people to develop their own authentic embodied practice. Her teachings are also influenced by her being a professional contemporary dancer and a social justice advocate.

There are a lot of body scan meditations available to help with chronic pain; I’d say this is the most practical and useful I have come across so far. The idea of focusing on an area of comfort within your body and trying to spread that out inside is incredibly helpful and effective.
