Welcome to your five-minute reset meditation.
So find the most comfortable position for you.
You can close your eyes,
Soften your gaze,
Or simply turn your attention inward.
Take a slow breath in through the nose.
And out through the mouth.
Again,
Breathing in.
And out.
Thank you.
There is nowhere else you need to be for these next few minutes.
Nothing else you need to do,
Solve,
Figure out.
Just a small pause in your day.
So let's arrive.
Notice where your body is feeling supported.
Feel your feet against the floor,
Your body against the chair.
The bed beneath you.
Let your shoulders drop.
Soften your jaw.
And allow your breath to fall into its natural rhythm.
You don't need to breathe perfectly.
Just noticing that you're breathing.
Now,
Bring your attention to how you're feeling.
Maybe you're energized.
Overwhelmed distracted.
Calm,
Excited.
Or somewhere in between.
Whatever is there,
Allow it to be there.
You don't need to change it.
Just notice.
And quietly remind yourself.
That you don't have to carry everything at once.
Now,
Let's release.
With your next inhale,
Imagine creating a little more space inside yourself.
And as you exhale,
Let go of anything you don't need to carry into the next part of your day.
Maybe it's a thought,
A conversation.
Worry deadline.
Someone else's energy.
Let the exhale take it in as you breathe in.
And as you breathe out,
Release it and let it go.
Again,
Take it in.
And let it out.
Imagine yourself.
Gently pressing your reset button.
Not starting a whole life again or becoming a different person,
Just beginning this moment again.
You can leave the last hour where it belongs.
You can leave the morning or day behind you.
For the next few moments,
There is only hair.
Now let's return and bring your attention back to your body.
Notice your feet,
Your hands.
Your breath.
And ask yourself.
What do I need for myself for the rest of this day?
Maybe softness,
Focus.
Rest.
Maybe simply to just take one step at a time.
Whatever comes,
Let it be there.
Take one deep breath in.
And a long,
Slow breath out,
Releasing any last pieces that don't belong.
Feel yourself becoming a little more present,
Grounded,
More here.
And remember,
You are allowed to begin again.
You don't have to have everything figured out.
You only need to meet this moment here.
Now.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes,
Taking this feeling of presence with you into the next conversation,
Task or hour.
You haven't changed anything.
You've simply come back to yourself.
And that is more than enough.
