Welcome to your 10th self meditation.
Please find a position that feels comfortable for you to maintain for a while and allow your eyes to gently close or soften your gaze.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And out through your mouth.
Again,
Breathing in.
And out.
Relax your jaw.
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Release any tension you've been carrying here.
And feel the support beneath you and for these next few moments.
Simply allow yourself to be.
Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest.
You don't need to change anything.
Just simply observing the rising.
And the falling.
Like waves arriving on the shore.
Always returning.
Always beginning again.
Perhaps life has pulled you away from your own shore.
Towards responsibilities,
Expectations,
Pleasing others.
Towards becoming who you thought you needed to be.
Sometimes we lose touch with ourselves without even realizing because life can be so loud we can stop hearing our own voice.
And so this meditation isn't about becoming someone new.
It's about remembering who you've always been.
Now imagine you're walking along a peaceful path somewhere deep in nature.
And with every step.
The noise of life begins to fade.
Pressures,
Comparisons,
Opinions of others.
The need to have everything figured out.
One step at a time.
You leave this all behind.
Until all that remains is you.
And the quiet presence of this moment.
And ahead of you is a place which feels comfortable and calm.
Perhaps a woodland clearing.
A garden.
Notice whatever appears naturally.
This is your inner home.
Place that always exists inside of you.
Walk there.
Here you will find your truest self.
You Whole.
Wise.
Peaceful.
And if you like,
Here you can even.
.
.
Physically embrace yourself.
And feel what it feels like to be accepted exactly as you are.
Perhaps your true self has something they wish to tell you.
And you take a quiet moment just to listen.
Maybe you hear.
You can trust yourself.
Aww.
You don't need to rush.
Or perhaps another message arrives.
Receive it with an open heart.
Now place one hand over your heart.
Notice the steady rhythm beneath your palms.
Your heart has carried you through every season of your life.
Every beginning.
Every ending.
Every disappointment.
Every joy.
It has never stopped beating for you.
Take a slow breath in.
And as you breathe out.
Quietly repeat.
I'm returning to myself.
I trust the wisdom within me.
I release what no longer feels true.
I choose peace over pressure.
I belong to myself.
Allow these words to settle gently within you.
Returning to yourself isn't something you do once.
It's a gentle practice.
Each time you listen to your intuition,
Honour your needs,
Speak your truth or choose rest,
You take one more step home.
And even if you wander again.
You will always be able to return.
Because home has never been somewhere outside of you.
It has always lived within.
Taking one final deep breath in now.
And slowly letting it go.
Begin to.
.
.
Notice the room around you.
The sounds,
The air on your skin.
Support beneath you.
And when you're ready gently move your body however feels good.
And slowly Flutter your eyelashes open.
And welcome yourself.
Back.
In the here and now.
