This is a guided visualisation to meet your inner guide. Do not worry if you do not see pictures in your mind. This meditation is just as powerful if you allow yourself to imagine and get a sense of the images being suggested. Imagine your own beautiful sacred space and travel to a place where you are wholly loved and supported. Bring back with you a message from your inner guide that will support you in whatever has been on your heart recently. Take this time to tune into yourself and drift into a comfortable place of inner peace and tranquility. Come out of this guided meditation calm, relaxed, and guided by your inner guide. This meditation is created with the intention to support you in gaining inner clarity. You will come out of this meditation with a message from your inner guide answering whatever question has been on your heart. Through hypnotic suggestion this meditation will create a sense of clarity in regards to whatever issue you bring to it.

We will be going on an inner journey to meet your inner guide.

Go ahead and find yourself a comfortable position either sitting up or lying down and allow your eyes to gently drift closed.

If you cannot see pictures in your mind that is fine.

Simply allow yourself to imagine and get a sense of these images I am about to describe.

I'd like you to imagine yourself in a beautiful place all your own.

Imagine yourself there right now.

Wherever that is I'd like you to feel the ground beneath you.

Imagine yourself lying on the ground.

On a comfortable surface that supports you and holds you as you look up into the sky or up into the space above you wherever you are.

Begin to look around and notice any colors,

Sights,

Smells,

Any textures,

Any objects,

Things around you.

Imagine yourself alone in this space now.

Feel the air moving subtly around your body.

Notice the sensations.

Notice anything that you can sense in this space all your own.

Maybe just a warm,

Comfortable feeling.

And as you settle into this space I'd like you to imagine that you get up now and begin to walk.

And as you're walking you see before you a door.

Walk up to the door now.

You place your hand on the handle.

It's a little cold.

As you turn the handle the door squeaks and opens.

On the other side of the door it's dark but you feel a comforting feeling as you step through the door.

You're floating now.

Sitting in a dark expanse of sky and you can see the thousands of billions and trillions of sparkling,

Twinkling stars all around you.

And as you look around you see that the space goes on and on and on to infinity in every direction.

Then you feel this deep,

Endless space.

And in this space you see a light.

And imagine yourself moving towards this light now.

And as you move towards this light this light begins to take shape.

Notice the shape of this light now.

This light,

Whatever it is,

Is here to guide you.

You may want to ask your guide their name.

Or perhaps you look into the eyes of this guide and you simply know.

Perhaps your guide has no eyes and is just a color,

A feeling.

Imagine this guide wrapping their arms around you.

This guide has so much love for you.

The depth and expansion of their love is immeasurable and you feel that love entering your being now.

In this love you feel the perfection that is you.

Enveloped in this love all is well.

Now your guide would like to give you a message.

Reach out your hands and hold them open for your guide to hand you over a gift.

This gift is very special and very important.

And to make sure that you do not lose this gift you place the gift in your heart.

See yourself placing the gift in your heart now.

You know full well what this gift means for you.

And when you awaken from this meditation the message from your guide will become very clear.

You take this gift and you turn to leave.

You float down towards the door and through the door into your sacred space.

You lie back down,

Back down,

Down into your body.

Now bring your awareness into your body,

Feeling your body,

Feeling your face,

Your chest,

Your arms,

Your legs,

Your fingers and your toes.

Waking up now,

Up,

Up,

Up and opening your eyes wide awake,

Calm,

Relaxed.

Feeling the message in your heart.

Be sure to thank your guide silently to yourself for sharing their wisdom with you.

And before you get back to your day take a few moments to appreciate yourself for taking this time to tune into you.

A surprisingly effective exercise given how short it is. Beginners could easily work with this, but note that both IT and YouTube house many longer, more detailed versions of the basic exercise. You might want to start with one of them (and use this as a quick refresher), or treat this as a preview/taste of the practice and, assuming you enjoy it, move to a longer recording when you want to deepen your practice. Definitely bears multiple listens β€”as noted, this recording can be used as a quick way to get back to this part of your subconscious after you are familiar with the basic territory. (The wording here is fairly open-ended, which I personally prefer to visualizations that tell you exactly what you are β€œsupposed to” see/feel/experience, in part because it encourages you to gain a different message/gift each time.)
