Welcoming you into the new moon meditation.
So before we get started,
Create a space that seems comfortable and at ease and safe.
And you most certainly can do this in the daylight,
In the morning.
But I invite you to do it in the evening and to turn off the lights and just light a few candles.
So that as we drop in and as we go in to welcome in the darkness of the new moon,
We embrace the darkness all around with a flicker of light.
So either coming into a comfortable seat or perhaps lying on the earth.
Bring first just one palm to the heart space and one palm into your belly.
Gently draw your eyes closed,
Embracing the darkness,
Embracing the energy of the new moon.
New moon energy is always the welcoming of new beginnings and connected into new beginnings is also the cycle of endings.
So perhaps you're on the bridge and you're in the middle of the bridge crossing over.
Maybe you've just crossed over the bridge to close a chapter in your life.
Maybe you're getting ready to step on the bridge to enter into a new portal,
A new journey within your life.
Either way,
We all walk the bridge of the unknown and truly embracing the new moon energy as an invitation to always welcome in the unknown and to always welcome in the darkness,
The shadow sides of ourselves,
Knowing that the light that flickers within the candlelight is always there.
Go ahead and just connect into a few deep breaths and just letting the breath flow in and flow out.
Whatever support is underneath you,
A chair,
A blanket,
The earth,
Just bring your awareness into that support.
And with each exhale,
Let yourself exhale a little bit more,
Finding the invitation of complete surrender,
Breathing in and breathing out.
Let any answers that you are seeking or any questions that you have to vanish into the unknown.
And just welcome in this moment.
Welcome in the sensation,
The sensitivity moving into your body,
Feeling the energy within you and all around.
And again,
Just welcoming in the darkness of the new moon and that invitation into infinite possibilities within your heart journey.
Breathing in and breathing out.
And then just bringing your awareness first into the visualization of a full moon.
The light,
The brightness and the nectar of that moon gracing you with its energy.
And as you visualize this,
This full moon,
Start to visualize this full moon moving into the new moon so that slowly it starts to darken and bring you inward again into the invitation of the new moon.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Again,
Just dropping into sensation,
Sensitivity,
Noticing temperature,
Texture,
Noticing shadows and light at play.
Noticing smells within the space,
What parts of your body are touching the support beneath you and inviting you into this new moon with new strength,
New power and the mantra,
I am worthy.
I am worthy of the highest new strength,
New power and I am worthy.
I am worthy of the highest.
And as you let those mantras move into your cells and move into your body,
Bringing in love,
Compassion and gentleness.
Breathing in and breathing out.
I invite you to stay in the darkness a little bit longer if that feels good to you and receive once again the energy of the new moon,
New beginnings.
And as you move into the visualization of the bridge,
Just visualizing yourself on this bridge.
And where is this bridge?
Is it in the forest,
The rainforest?
Is it in the mountains near an ocean?
Is it in a big city?
But welcoming yourself,
Welcoming your soul into the unknown and opening your heart into infinite possibilities.
