Welcoming your 'light' on this voyage into the 'self'. This guided practice is called, 'Drop In'. I invite you to 'drop in' to sensation, energy, movement, breath, connection, space, sound and the fullness of YOU (full embodiment). How can we 'feel' beyond the labels and beyond the skin into the soul? How can we live from a place of truth and be tender when it looks messy? How can we embrace more of our Light and our Shadows?

Go ahead and start to close your eyes.

Maybe even taking in a few deep breaths,

A deep inhalation,

And a deep exhalation to welcome yourself into your seat.

As you're closing your eyes,

Connecting into your breathing body,

I would like to invite you to bring your hands on your body,

Perhaps one hand on the heart,

One hand on the belly,

And let's start to drop into the space today.

So wherever you're at,

Perhaps you're at home or at work,

Maybe in another sacred space,

Just start to feel the energy around you and starting to find that comfort and that safety so that you can drop into you.

And just start to notice your breath.

There's nothing to change.

There's nothing to fix.

Just notice it flowing in and out with the rise and the fall of your chest.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Start to bring your awareness just to feel the support beneath you,

Feeling your body rusted onto the chair,

Perhaps the earth,

Maybe even feeling the texture of that support,

Whether you're on a pillow or a bolster,

A chair,

Or on the earth.

And just inviting your full body to be heavy,

Resting down into the support that is available right now.

And again,

Connecting into your breathing body.

There is nothing to change and there's nothing to fix.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Start to relax your whole body as you surrender and allow your body to be heavy once again.

And dropping deeper into safety within the space.

And again,

To know that that support is available every time you connect into your exhale.

So with each exhalation,

We drop in a little bit more to find that ease.

We drop in a little bit more to connect into feeling.

Again,

Just breathing in and breathing out.

And gently resting one palm on the heart and one palm on the belly.

And just connecting into the physical body.

Start to draw your breath down into the chest,

Into the heart space.

And noticing the breath expand to the front and to the back.

Drawing your breath,

Your awareness into the heart and allowing your awareness to sense,

To see,

To feel the infinite depth that is within the heart space.

The vastness of the element air.

Again,

Just breathing in and breathing out.

And you're free to let the body adjust in any small or big movements to open this heart space further.

Just tapping into that intuition.

What is the body feeling each time you inhale and exhale?

Perhaps sighing or breathing out any unwanted tension within the physical body,

The emotional body.

And again,

There's nothing to change.

There is nothing to fix.

We're just noticing the breath connecting into feeling,

Dropping into sensation.

Now start to draw your awareness and your breath deeper down into the body,

All the way into the pelvic bowl.

Letting the breath flow down into the left hip and then into the right hip.

And as we start to wake up this area,

Connecting into the center,

Into the belly,

Into the hips.

And starting just to open up from the inside out.

So again,

Breathing into the center,

Breathing into the hips,

Breathing into the pelvic bowl.

Nothing changed,

Nothing to fix.

Just noticing,

Feeling sensation.

And any small movements or big movements are welcomed right now within this drop-in practice.

And again,

Just breathing in and breathing out.

Slowly just start to release your hands from the heart space and from the belly.

And bringing the back of your hands to your upper thighs,

To your knees,

Wherever they rest in a comfortable position.

And just allow yourself again to drop into the breathing body,

Dropping into energy,

Dropping into sensation.

And just feeling what is rising up for you in this moment,

In this drop-in practice.

And again,

Knowing that there's nothing to change and nothing to fix.

Breathing in and breathing out.
