Welcome to the Cementral Cycle Meditation.
Before we get started,
If you do have a Tempax or a Diva Cup in,
I invite you to take them out and perhaps replace them with a pad.
And then I invite you to come to your back,
So lying on the earth,
And if you do need support,
Bringing blankets or a bolster underneath the knees.
And I just want you first to bring the palms of your hands into your belly.
It's the right palm on the right side and left on the left side.
And welcoming a deeper breath into your belly and into your center.
Just breathing in and out and allowing the breath to flow.
Just letting your physical body arrive within the space,
Within your breath,
And within any sensitivity or sensation within the internal body.
And the external body.
And as you drop into the physical body,
Just noticing openness,
Noticing tightness,
Perhaps noticing strong energy within certain spaces of the body,
Whether it is internal or external.
And again,
Just bringing the breath very tenderly into the belly,
Letting it flow in and letting it flow out.
And then slowly,
I just want you to bring your hands now up into the heart space,
Wherever they feel comfortable.
And as you draw your breath up into the heart space,
Breathing in the invitation of compassion and of love and lightness.
Again,
As you draw the inhalation into the heart space,
Breathing in compassion,
Breathing in love and breathing in lightness.
And then I just invite you to bring your arms,
Your hands in any space that is comforting to you,
That is nourishing to you.
And I want you to just start to draw your breath down into the pelvis area.
So as the inhalation rises up,
The exhalation pours into the pelvis,
Breathing into the right hip,
Breathing into the left tip,
Breathing into the inner thighs.
And just letting the breath flow.
And then when your body feels called to connecting into very gentle movement within the pelvis,
Maybe it's just moving the hips a little bit back and forth.
Maybe it's the invitation of very gentle cat and cow.
But just exploring the movement within the pelvis,
Exploring the invitation of flow,
Exploring the feeling of the element water and connecting into the breathing body.
And allowing the flow of blood to move,
To explore.
And that invitation of when we are experiencing our moon cycle,
That invitation of constant flow,
Transitioning,
Going inward,
Allowing,
Receiving and releasing.
And then slowly,
I want you to start to draw your breath into your vagina.
And just breathing in and breathing out.
And perhaps it's a deeper breath or it's very gentle,
Perhaps a deep exhalation to release any pain or suffering,
Any uncomfortableness.
And again,
Drawing your breath into the walls of the vagina,
Breathing in and breathing out.
And slowly start to bring one palm back to the belly.
And one palm into your heart.
And just letting the breath be there,
Wherever there is.
Allowing your emotions to flow,
Whether they are full of pleasure or perhaps more challenging emotions.
And letting them just be in the flow.
And gently bringing your palms together in prayer hands.
And just gently bringing your thumbs within the prayer hands,
The prayer mudra,
In between the eyebrows as you're lying down.
Connecting into the third eye,
Asana,
Connecting us into intuition,
Inner wisdom and trusting the wisdom of the body.
As we drop into our sacred menstrual cycles every month,
This time is an opportunity to drop into the portal of deep inner wisdom and deep intuition.
So as you keep your prayer hands,
Your thumbs in between the eyebrows,
Move into just a few deeper breaths,
Breathing into the third eye,
Asana.
And when you're ready,
And only when your body invites you,
Slowly release your arms down by your side,
Opening the palms.
And just being open to receive and still connecting into the sacredness of your cycle and connecting into the sacredness of your journey as a woman.
Many blessings.
Thank you.
