Many children struggle with negative self-talk, just as adults do. In this guided meditation, I tried to create a gradual shift in language so that the affirmations would not feel false. I also gently guide them to question their thinking. These small shifts can release anxiety and help the children train their brain to be more positive. Repetition is key. May this track bring you and your child more peace.

Hello friend,

Thank you for joining me today.

Do you know that our brain is wired to take good care of us?

Sometimes we worry because we are telling ourselves something that just isn't true.

The next time you think about something bad that might happen,

Say to yourself,

That might not be true.

Let's start with a few breaths.

Take a big breath in and let it go.

Breathe in,

Breathe out,

And say to yourself,

I'm fine.

Breathe in,

Breathe out,

And say,

Yes I am.

Breathe in,

Breathe out,

And say,

Everything is okay.

Great.

Now keep repeating after me.

I am making up a story about something that might happen.

It might not be true.

Right now I'm fine.

Yes I am.

I'm okay.

Now this one's a little longer.

I breathe in,

I breathe out,

I'm okay.

Let's do that one together two more times.

I breathe in,

I breathe out,

I'm okay.

I breathe in,

I breathe out,

I'm okay.

Good job.

Now take a few more breaths with me.

Breathe in,

Breathe out,

And say I'm fine.

Breathe in,

Breathe out,

And say I'm good.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I tell myself good things.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I am in charge of my brain.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I'm okay.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I'm fine.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I'm good.

I'm good.

I'm good.

Just remember you're in charge of your brain and you can tell it what you want to hear.

Thanks for joining me today.

Have a beautiful rest of your day.

Namaste.
