Leading you on a guided meditation to help you release what's holding you back.
So relax,
Get into your favourite meditation position and let's go there together.
Let's take some nourishing breaths together.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Last time,
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Keep that rhythm going.
So,
What is holding you back?
Think about it now.
It could be your internal feelings of not being enough.
It could be so many things.
Or it could be just one thing.
Whatever it is,
Just take a pause.
Imagine you're walking in a park.
You come to a clearing.
The flowers have such a beautiful perfume.
The sweet smell tickles your nose.
The sun is shining.
You look up.
It touches your face and makes you smile.
You look around and there's a small stream to one side of you.
You go there and put your fingers in the bubbling water.
You kneel down,
Cup your hands and take a sip.
It feels so cool and refreshing.
You turn around and look the other way and you see some trees.
Something draws you towards them.
You walk towards the trees.
You don't have any shoes on.
The ground feels warm as the earth gets between your toes.
You keep going deeper into the trees.
It gets cooler now.
As you keep walking,
The trees get thicker and thicker.
You look around and realise you've lost your way.
As you turn,
You are surrounded by trees.
You can't see the grass or the stream.
You brush by some leaves and they wrap around your fingers.
Then they wrap around your toes then your wrists,
Your ankles,
Your arms and your legs.
Eventually you are stuck.
You can't move because the branches have wrapped around you so tight.
You take a deep breath and look up.
In the distance you see a light.
It's warm and shimmering.
It comes down and enters through your head.
It goes into your body and straight into your heart.
It swells it up and fills you with an indescribable joy.
It fills up every part of your body with love.
From your toes,
Your legs,
Your hips,
Right up to your stomach,
Then your lungs,
Your heart,
Your chest,
Your neck and your head.
You breathe in and out slowly.
As you breathe in,
You look down at your arms.
And as you breathe out,
The light slowly melts away the branches that are holding you in place.
First your arms,
Then your legs,
Then your wrists,
Then your ankles,
Then your hands,
Then your feet.
Lastly your fingers and your toes.
You are now free.
Filled with love and light.
You start to walk and up ahead you see a clearing.
The trees get thinner and you enter a beautiful field of green grass filled with daffodils.
Imagine the scene for a moment.
A happy place.
Then you start walking faster.
You start running,
You skip,
You dance with joy.
Your arms stretched out wide.
You turn and say,
Thank you,
I am free.
I release all the things that are holding me back.
I am free.
You are free.
Slowly come back to the room.
Open your eyes and smile.
It has been an honour to practice with you today.
Come back to this meditation often to release anything that is holding you back.
