Hello beautiful souls,
This is June Bee,
And welcome to an amazing night's sleep.
Thanks for being here for another in the series,
Bedtime Tales with June Bee.
Tonight,
We are going to take a flying lesson in your dreams.
Being lucid in your dream and flying high above the clouds,
You are in control tonight,
So let's take off.
Let's get into your favourite sleeping position,
Making sure you are comfortable.
Close your eyes,
Relax your muscles and slowly imagine yourself melting into the bed.
Now let's go to your breathing,
Slowing down the heart rate and let's take some nourishing breaths together.
Breathe in,
Breathe out,
Breathe,
Breathe out,
Breathe in,
Breathe out,
Breathe,
Breathe out,
Breathe in,
Breathe out,
Breathe in,
Breathe out,
Last time,
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Settle in now,
Relax and get comfortable,
Listen to the sound of my voice.
If your mind wanders,
It's okay,
Bring it back to the sound of my voice.
Let go of everything that has happened today and let's go on our journey together.
Beautiful soul,
You are the dreamer,
The soul traveller,
The expert flyer in this construct of your own lucid dream.
Tonight you are not just drifting off,
You are taking a flight high in the skies and knowing you are in this dream,
Controlling your flight once you allow it to happen.
So soften,
Settle,
Surrender to the sound of my voice and the tones of the music specifically to help you on your flight and allow yourself to totally rest.
Remember no matter what happens today,
You are safe.
To begin,
Look at your hands,
Palms facing towards you and see all the love lines embedded in those hands.
Think about all the work these hands have done,
The hands of friendship or helping hands you have offered to others and all the other hands they have held.
Turn your hands over,
Taking a good glance at your nails,
Any rings or jewellery you wear,
Then place them together into prayer hands.
Now feel your feet,
Warm,
Heavy,
Relaxed.
Think of them like roots that have been pulled out of the earth,
Just free to dangle and soften.
All of your body feels floaty and free,
As if this freedom is a very close memory and something that is not easy to forget.
That feeling of floating and being free,
Drifting effortlessly through the soft,
Fragrant lavender sky.
Tonight we are not trying,
We are simply becoming.
Let the dream begin.
So now imagine you are standing at the edge of a cliff.
You are safe and all is well.
The velvet sky above expertly peppered with glistening stars everywhere you look.
The soft breeze kisses your face and gently tugs at your clothes as if the wind is inviting you to play.
As you look down,
You are standing on lush and green moss.
It tickles between your toes and reminds you that you are grounded and safe right here.
As you look up,
The moon seems so close,
Close enough for you to touch the creamy surface that looks like a ball of delicious cheese with delicate holes in it.
You smile at the moon as you have a realization that you are right now dreaming.
You look down at your hands again to check that you are present in your dream right now.
This is the moment that you are aware and fully lucid.
You can say to yourself,
I am dreaming.
I know I am dreaming.
Now you lift your arms and take flight.
The wind slipping expertly through your clothes,
Your hair and your hands.
The wind supports you as if it is holding you in the exact perfect spot for flying.
Pulsing through the soft and fluffy clouds,
You find yourself gliding through the sky.
Graceful,
Weightless,
Effortless and looking all around at the beauty unfolding in front of you.
You rise higher and higher above clouds,
Below clouds,
Twisting,
Maneuvering,
Flipping,
Sliding and generally having so much fun.
Akin to playing dodgems through the soft and fluffy clouds,
You slip into a quiet,
So deep,
It feels deep in your soul like music.
There is no need to control anything right now.
You are guided by instinct,
By endless joy,
By the silent knowing in your bones that you are free.
Then you try dipping a little lower,
Then soaring again.
Spirals,
Soft turns,
Dives,
Oh,
So much pure play.
You let laughter bubble in your chest or sparkle behind your eyes,
Flying in your own style now.
Wildly,
Sweetly,
Gloriously.
If the dream takes a turn or shifts,
Don't resist.
Allow it to unfold as it is meant to.
Let it flow.
And if at any point you want to check it is a lucid dream,
Take a look again at your hands.
Turn them over,
Then back again.
And this proves you are in control.
You are not new here.
This is a familiar place for you.
You are an architect,
A dream weaver,
A sky walker.
Check in by looking at your hand again.
From the palms of your hands,
Gently turning them over to the back of your hands,
Acknowledging that you are here and enjoying this experience of lucid thoughts and dreams.
You use this dream to ask your heart a question.
What do I need?
You allow yourself to feel the freedom you were always meant to know and experience the joy of being free.
Now it's time for you to make a gentle descent.
The air supports you in every move you make and always makes you feel safe and supported.
The air catches you like a cradle and helps you to gently float back down to a soft,
Green and glowing meadow where the grass is gentle,
Comforting and sublime.
As you look around,
You and other dreamers have landed.
Then you start remembering something you have always known.
You are sacred.
You are limitless.
You are safe.
And you have always known how to fly.
Let this dream continue to unfold in peaceful serenity.
Let your wings stay open even in sleep.
And remember,
You are not limited by the earth below.
You are lifted by the sky above.
You are a sky dancer.
You are a dream weaver.
It's time to take that final whisper that is telling you to dissolve into this soft and welcoming sheets that surround you.
Telling you it is safe to fall asleep.
I'm not sure about you.
I'm getting sleepy even thinking about it.
So I'm ready to let go fully and surrender to sleep.
Thanks for joining me tonight.
Have yourself a great night's sleep.
And looking forward to seeing you again for another in the series of bedtime tales with June B.
Good night.
