Make yourself comfortable,
Either seated or lying down is fine.
Make sure that you have plenty of time and space to yourself to enjoy this meditation.
Full moon meditation.
As you feel your breath coming in and your breath going out,
You relax into yourself,
Feeling your body settling into the seat or the floor or the bed and feel yourself relax even further.
We breathe without being consciously aware of it,
So let's just take a moment to really connect with this life-giving force.
Just observing the breath coming in and going out at your normal rhythm.
Observe your breath without judgment or critique.
Simply let it flow naturally and as you connect with it,
Allow yourself to relax.
Your breath coming in and your breath going out.
Notice any tension being held in your body and as you continue to breathe deeply,
Feel this tension drain away and empty from your body.
Allow yourself to fall deeper into relaxation.
As you breathe in,
You feel a warm,
Cozy energy enter your body through the very top of your head and flow down through your shoulders,
Arms and torso,
Into your legs,
To the tips of your toes.
And as you breathe out,
Feel this warm energy flow back up from the tips of your toes,
All the way up to the very top of your head.
Breathe in,
Energy flows down.
Breathe out,
Energy flows up.
In and out,
In and out.
Now you have connected with your breath and are feeling heavy,
Relaxed and at peace.
Visualize yourself standing under a silver waterfall,
A crystal clear water flowing over you and through you,
Washing away all negative energies.
For this is no ordinary waterfall,
But rather it is the energetic glow that flows directly from the full moon and you are bathing in a stream of energy that cascades down from the lunar body above.
The crystal clear light shimmers like silver as the energy continues to flow over you and through you,
Cleansing you and your energy.
And as you bathe under this waterfall of moonlight energy,
You acknowledge that which no longer serves you.
These may be limiting beliefs,
Perhaps of fear,
Of criticism or of change,
Maybe even grief,
Shame or difficulty in letting go of past events or people.
Acknowledge this extra weight that no longer serves you and let them go.
Let them flow away in the energy that has washed over you.
Let go of sadness,
Let go of guilt,
Let go of blame,
Let go of fear.
Allow yourself to soak in divine love and release any and all sources of negativity.
Let go of whatever has disappointed you,
Upset you,
Hurt you or made you feel small.
Exhale and let it all go.
Breathe in and allow yourself to soak in the moon's powerful,
Positive,
Healing energy.
Letting in the light as you feel it engulf you and cleansing every cell of your body.
Breathe out,
Sedentary and stuck feelings.
Breathe in,
Free-flowing creativity and imagination.
Breathe out,
Indecisiveness and confusion.
Breathe in,
Clarity and insight.
Breathe out,
Egotism and arrogance.
Breathe in,
Pride in yourself.
Breathe out,
People-pleasing.
Breathe in,
Truthfulness and honesty.
Breathe out,
Lethargy and exhaustion.
Breathe in,
Rest and recuperation.
Breathe out,
Sadness.
Breathe in,
Happiness.
Breathe out,
Guilt and blame.
Breathe in,
Gratitude and thankfulness.
Breathe out,
Fear.
Breathe in,
Love.
Now,
As you step out of this energetic waterfall,
You see the sun rising on a new day and feel the rays of sunlight beaming down upon you.
You embrace the sun's warmth,
Energizing you and filling you with renewed energy and light.
Let's quietly contemplate this relaxing,
Rejuvenating energy in a few minutes of silent meditation.
Now let's take a few moments to slowly come out of meditation.
Gently bring the awareness back into your room,
Back into your body.
Reconnect with your breath.
Take a moment to feel yourself sitting in this presence.
Still with your eyes closed,
Take your hands and place the palms together.
Now think of one thing you can be grateful for today.
Then rub your hands together,
Creating friction and then place your hands over your eyes and feel the heat from the hands being absorbed by them.
Slowly and gently blink open your eyes while keeping your hands over them.
Take a few moments to do so.
There is no rush.
Now slowly move your hands away and bring your attention fully back into the here and now.
