Namaste dear one,
This is Jay Chaturagam.
Today is a practice of affirmations.
Affirmations have the power to motivate you to act on certain things,
Help you to concentrate on achieving your goals in life.
It gives you the power to establish positive thinking patterns.
But above all,
Affirmations can affirm the positivity back into your life and help regain or increase your self-confidence.
When you choose happy thoughts and set intentions to live joyfully,
You're setting yourself up for success and contentment in all areas of your life.
Your sense of happiness will reflect back to you a life filled with many opportunities to feel even more happiness.
The more you focus,
The more it expands.
Now for the next 10 minutes or so,
I invite you to set aside all distractions as this is your time.
There's nothing more important to do,
Nowhere else to be.
So set aside all distractions,
Make yourself very comfortable,
Relaxed,
Yet alert.
You could be doing this practice either seated on a chair,
Lying down,
Or cross-legged on the floor.
Make sure that if you're seated on a chair that your feet are firmly planted on the ground.
Rest your arms on your knees or on your lap or if you're lying down next to you.
There'll be an alignment between your head,
Neck,
And spine.
Relax the jaw,
Ease the face,
Drop the shoulders,
And soften the belly.
And go ahead and take in a deep breath in and as you do so,
Go ahead and gently downshift your gaze or close your eyes and exhale it all out.
One more long,
Slow,
Deep breath into the belly and letting it go through the mouth.
Another one long,
Slow,
Deep breath in deeper than you've done before and gently letting it all out through the mouth.
Breath is like the waves of an ocean,
There's an ebb and a flow and if you stay with it long enough,
It brings you home to yourself in the present moment,
In the now.
Now as I speak some words of affirmations,
I will allow time for you to let these words sink deep into your psyche and be felt in every cell of your body.
So let's begin.
I am enough.
I believe in my dreams,
Myself,
And all that I am.
I love myself for who I am.
I create my own happiness.
My life is filled with abundance of goodness.
My challenges are actually opportunities.
This too shall pass.
I am beautiful just the way I am.
I have the power to shape my ideal reality.
I create the life I desire with my good feelings.
I see so many blessings in my life.
Everything is always working out well for me.
I create my happiness by accepting every part of myself with unconditional love.
Joy is the essence of my being.
I experience joy in everything I do.
I give myself permission to enjoy myself.
The life I've always dreamed of is created by my choice to be joyful now.
My choice to be happy keeps me in perfect health.
The happiness I feel is felt by everyone around me.
My inner joy expands when I share it with others.
Now let go of this practice and enjoy the stillness of just being.
I invite you to please bring your palms together in prayer position at your heart center and rub your palms briskly kindling the life force.
When you feel a nice warm ball of energy weld up between your palms,
Go ahead and cup your eyes one with each palm and bless yourself.
