Welcome.
But yourself.
Comfortable as possible.
As if really held in loving arms,
Strong loving arms.
Arriving like a raindrop.
In the ocean.
So much space.
So much space and so allowed to be so yourself.
Exactly as yourself is just now.
But not taking the conscious thinking and emoting experience as the main thing.
Letting that be the thoughts,
The emotions,
Images,
Stories,
Memories,
Plans,
Emotional charges.
Thoughts about myself.
All of that's allowed to be.
And it's allowed to be.
Unimportant.
What else is.
.
.
Radiant here just now what else is happening by itself here.
Just as thoughts and emotions have their own lives.
Their own qualities,
Their own comings and goings.
Like light reflecting on water.
Here and gone specific.
And ephemeral.
And what else is here.
Resting into strong,
Loving arms,
Resting into your own arms,
Resting into the arms of the moment.
Resting into an imaginary or real place you love and feel good in.
Where you might feel your dignity.
Really obviously.
Your lovability really obviously.
Comes through in that real or imagined place.
Or in resting into the strong loving arms at the moment.
Of aliveness.
A softness in the breath.
In the space we call heart.
If possible.
Maybe we can let a little pressure off.
Of the heart.
Maybe we can kind of duck our heads under.
And come into a space of no demand on the heart.
No demand on the experience.
Wonder at all of this arising freely.
Or just allowing the alertness of the eyes to go to sleep.
The attentiveness in the brain to rest back.
Into comfort and welcome.
And no demand.
For a while.
Perhaps feeling the space and shape of the chest or the area that we refer to as heart.
Feeling in a supportive,
Friendly way.
What is the shape?
What is the space?
Of the chest or of what we call heart.
And feeling very free,
Freely gravitating towards,
If you wish,
The physical heart.
Or if you wish,
A more emotional state as heart,
Or if you wish,
Or if it happens,
More of a spaciousness of heart,
Spiritual heart,
No agenda kind of place.
Sense of welcome kind of place.
Or attunement.
Or landing.
And letting experience freely arise.
Letting the eyes rest.
And letting the sense of me or I come to rest as well.
Not problematic.
And not.
The direction giver.
Just a kind of secondary effect of awareness,
Of presence.
Of being awake and in awareness and in a moment and in a body.
Here we are.
No problem.
Let there be freely arising sensations.
Let there be sounds that arise freely.
Let there be freely arising emotions.
Let there be thoughts that arise freely.
Like mist rising off of a lake.
There's room for everything.
And none of these secondary effects need to be or can be really taken as definitively what we are,
But we can allow them.
Maybe with wonder.
With an openness of,
Wow,
What is this?
What is this?
What happens not tending.
To this moment's secondary effects.
Not tending to thoughts.
Or the sense of me.
Or any of the other freely arising experiences.
Letting their arising help us.
Settle down,
Locate ourselves,
Relax into where this is all happening here in this moment.
In this living moment in this life.
As if we could rest down a little further,
Kind of underneath.
Where all the experiences are.
Arising from.
As if we are the lake or the river and the mists are arising from here.
And we don't have to wrap our head around our experience.
We don't have to try to understand it too.
Relax into yourself and kind of even let the bottom drop out.
We don't need to hang out just on the surface of the river or the lake.
We can be where it all comes from.
As well.
We can be the whole lake.
In its coolness and depth.
Its particular landscape.
Underwater,
Particular shapes.
The whole lake heavy and held in the earth in the moment.
In life.
The senses of hearing,
The sense of touch,
And so on,
Allowing all of these senses to arise freely.
Without our needing to drive them,
Direct them,
Power them.
Enjoy the light touch of how little we need to do for hearing to happen,
For touch to happen.
And so on.
The secondary effects arising,
Like mists off the lake or the river.
Being the lake,
Being the river.
Alive and at peace.
And the chance to allow life as it expresses through your experience as sounds,
Sensations,
And so on.
Like a river that flows through a particular part of the riverbed and has that specific sound and shape and energy.
Life flowing through us.
What else is here?
Maybe opening to feel.
The existence of your own presence.
Not so much as an I or a me.
Maybe in connection with feeling the lower belly.
The lower body or the back.
Or a sense of yourself as being bigger than your skin.
What hears,
What feels.
What is hearing?
What is feeling?
What is thinking.
And if we could have the openness of the question without reaching for an answer.
We may land in the lap of the openness.
In the lap of awareness.
In the warm welcome.
The belovedness.
And no demand.
That is our true and deepest.
Nice blood or life circulation.
Or welcome our beloved nest.
No demand.
Resting back.
The awareness gives itself.
We don't have to take it or make it,
It can rest.
Let awareness be aware.
Let now be now.
Let aliveness be alive.
