Good morning dear one.
Each morning is a new opportunity to start the day off right.
In these early hours our mind is in its purest and calmest form and practicing a morning meditation helps us bring balance and clarity to both the mental and emotional self.
You can do this practice seated or lying down.
If you are seated,
Make sure your spine is straight,
Hands resting on your lap.
With a gentle smile on your face,
Softly close your eyes.
I invite you to bring your attention to your breath.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale from your mouth.
Deep breath in,
Exhale slowly out,
Allowing yourself to connect with this present moment,
Allowing yourself to be here now.
Inhaling I am aware of my in-breath.
Exhaling I am aware of my out-breath.
Inhaling I am aware of my in-breath.
Exhaling I am aware of my out-breath.
Having yourself permission to go into a deeper meditative state.
I'd like to introduce you to some morning affirmations.
You can place your hands on your heart center and repeat these affirmations out loud or in your heart.
Let us begin.
Today is a gift and I am blessed to be here.
The sunrise fills me with energy and confidence.
I greet today with fresh eyes and a fresh mind.
Today I am grateful to feel the air in my lungs and the beating of my heart.
Today I stay mindful to feel the good that surrounds me.
Today I am filled with positive energy.
Today my heart and head are both centered and present.
I am exactly where I need to be right now.
I feel so much joy and happiness in this moment and radiate that energy throughout my day.
I invite gratitude into my heart now.
Now feel your whole body filled with the light of the sun.
Inhaling this beautiful rising energy.
Imagining your body is replaced with this light and you have become an embodiment of light.
Take a few more breaths and allow this feeling to expand.
Trusting in this energy that will guide you throughout the day.
When you are ready,
Bring your awareness back to your body.
Wiggle your toes and fingers and gently open your eyes.
Welcome back and thank you for taking the time to practice this session with me.
Have a beautiful day.
Namaste.
