This is a tapping exercise to help you feel confident for your next presentation.

If you are new to tapping,

Please note this will require you to tap on your body and speak out loud,

So it's best to find a time when you can do this alone.

That being said,

Just follow my guidance.

It may feel a little strange at first,

But the format and tapping pattern help stimulate the central nervous system and causes the body to release helpful chemicals.

Basically,

Just go with it.

It will be worth it.

Let's start.

Take a moment to place your hand on your heart and feel your breath.

Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.

So if you are listening to this,

You likely have a presentation you want to be effective.

Now we're going to consider what concerns do you have that will get in the way of you delivering the most effective presentation.

To really get your message out there.

On a scale of 1 to 10,

How concerned are you with 1 being I'm a cool cucumber to 10 being oh heck no there's no way I'm presenting.

Got your number?

Okay.

Then we'll begin massaging underneath the collarbone and give yourself permission to get in touch with anything that's either blocking you or holding you back from your intention of presenting.

Perhaps it's a limiting thought,

A feeling.

Maybe it's a belief.

Give yourself full permission to feel any discomfort associated with that limiting thought,

Feeling or belief.

Now take a deep breath in and release an audible sigh.

And one more time.

Okay.

Now we'll start tapping the center of the chest with all four fingers.

You can do this with just one hand.

Continuing to tap and repeat after me.

Even though I am feeling and say out loud what your concerns or feelings are.

Maybe I'm afraid I won't do a good job.

Maybe I'm anxious I'll trip over my words.

I'm feeling like I want to hide.

Whatever it is you're feeling.

And then I love and deeply accept myself.

I am a good person.

One more time.

Even though I am feeling and tell me all about how you're feeling.

I love and deeply accept myself exactly as I am.

Switching to tapping on the sides of the ribs with both hands and repeat.

And I'm struggling to trust myself here.

Take a long deep breath in and release a sigh.

Ahhhhhh.

And let's do that one more time.

Ahhhhhh.

Alright,

Tapping on the top of the head with both hands.

Even though I have been secretly believing and tell me what you've been believing.

Maybe it's that I'm not good enough.

That this won't go well.

Whatever it is.

And continuing to tap.

And it's making me feel.

Say out loud what it's making you feel.

Maybe it's small.

Maybe you feel contracted.

Maybe anxious.

Maybe afraid.

Tell me whatever it is.

Continuing to tap on the top of the head.

And now repeat.

I am open to loving and accepting myself exactly as I am.

Take a deep breath and release a big sigh.

Ahhhhhh.

And one more time.

Ahhhhhh.

Awesome.

Tapping the forehead between the brows.

And repeating.

It's possible I'm still worthy of love.

Tapping the temples and repeat.

Even though I am afraid to really go for this presentation.

It's possible my love can help.

Tapping the cheeks and repeat.

It's possible my love can dissolve these blocks.

Lightly tapping underneath the nose.

It's possible I am safe in moving forward with this presentation.

Take a deep breath,

Continuing to tap and release a sigh.

Ahhhhhh.

And one more time.

Ahhhhhh.

Tapping the center of the chest.

It's possible I'm ready to create.

And tell me out loud about this presentation and the impact you hope it has.

If it wasn't important to you,

You wouldn't be doing this.

So tell me about it.

Mmhmm.

Awesome.

Continuing to tap and speak out loud.

I am open to this feeling natural and easy.

Repeat after me.

I am open to trusting myself.

Repeat I can do this.

Yes you can.

And now sending so much compassion and understanding to any part of you that's been holding back or afraid.

Take a deep breath and release a sigh.

Ahhhhhh.

And sending even more love and spaciousness and take a deep breath and release a sigh.

Ahhhhhh.

Great tapping on the front of the ribs,

Speaking out loud.

I plan to enjoy the process.

I can present full out.

Alright,

Tapping on the top of the head.

Repeat after me.

I am ready to make this happen.

I am ready to have an impact.

Saying out loud,

This can go great.

Yes it can.

Awesome.

Take a deep breath and release a sigh.

Ahhhhhh.

Alright,

Tapping the forehead between the brows.

Now describe what would happen in your presentation if it went really well and you had no blocks or fears.

If no blocks were holding me back,

I would be.

And tell me out loud,

What would be happening?

What would you be doing?

How would you feel?

Continuing to tap the forehead between the brows.

I would be.

Awesome and tell me out loud,

What would feel like?

Great.

Take a deep breath,

Release a sigh.

Ahhhhhh.

Tapping the temples,

Speaking out loud,

It makes me feel and tell me the top three positive emotions you would experience if the presentation goes as you want.

Maybe it's joy.

Maybe it's powerful.

Maybe you feel happy.

Maybe it would give you a sense of ease.

And one more time,

It makes me feel and really feel and embody these emotions now.

Tell me what is making you feel.

Oh my gosh,

So great.

Tapping the cheeks,

It really feels.

Heck yeah,

I feel it.

I feel it from here.

Now take a deep breath and release a sigh.

Ahhhhhh.

Just one hand on the belly,

One hand on your chest and take a moment to imagine the presentation going really well.

Imagine yourself showing up with ease,

With power,

Taking your time and imagining it's fun.

Put a smile on your face and notice how you are feeling.

On a scale of one to ten,

How are you feeling now?

How concerned are you for your presentation now?

Thank you for showing up for yourself and for others.

Best of luck to you and I hope you have a joy filled day.
