Welcome to the Mama Universe meditations where you get to nurture the ultimate mother inside of you which will allow you to open up and connect and immerse yourself into the deep and juicy universe inside of you.

This meditation and topic is depletion.

In this meditation I ask if you are driving to pull over and stop.

If you have electronic devices make sure to put them on do not disturb and allow yourself the sacred gift to pause,

To return to self as this is not just a meditation but rather an activation,

A moment to immerse yourself into your personal spiritual inquiry.

Lets start by taking in a breath of five breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.

Taking an internal count breathing in one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Breathing out one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

And as you continue to listen to my voice we are going to be exploring the different choices you make to either honor your self love and self care or where you can give yourself more when you feel deprived.

As you continue to breathe in and out through your nose I will be reading different prompts to you where I want you to take a moment to pause and place your right hand on your heart and your left hand on your belly and your womb whether you are a man or a woman or other we all have a womb and for men it is called the hara.

Take your left thumb placing it inside of your belly button your other fingers fanning down,

Taking that deep choosy breath in and out.

Continue to breathe in and checking in with yourself as we continue into this deep soulful heart activating activation.

Often times in life we give so much,

So much and you are such a giver,

Such a nurturer and when you catch yourself saying things such as I never have time to do what I really want to do,

What you are really saying is I don't take time for my own needs.

When you insist I always end up doing everything myself.

The truth of what you are really saying is I don't ask for help.

Get the idea,

The choices we make either make us honor ourselves or we don't honor ourselves and that is when we start to feel deprived.

So as you continue on this inquiry where I will be asking you certain prompts to dive into feel free to pause this activation and take out a journal or pen and paper and really gift yourself the opportunity to become curious about what you truly need because you deserve it.

You are worthy and you are so loved just as you are right now,

Right here,

No more,

No less.

And just like a seed that is planted in a garden that seed does not ask when it is being watered am I worthy of receiving this water,

This sunlight to grow big to become abundant and bountiful and juicy and delicious or does that seed just receive?

I ask you to be as embodied as the seed in the garden to just receive,

To know that you deserve.

And let us return again to personal inquiry.

When you hear yourself complaining,

No one appreciates the things I do.

What you most likely mean is I take on way too much hoping that someone else will notice and tell me how good or grateful they are for me.

And finally when you use the excuse my kids or friends take up all of my time,

What you actually need to admit is I have chosen to make my children's or friends needs more of a priority than my own.

So now it is your turn and this is a challenge,

A call to your own consciousness to become more keenly aware of how and why and where you feel deprived in your life.

So I ask you now as you listen along to take out that notebook or piece of paper and to keep it with you throughout the week and the coming days so whenever you feel frustrated or overwhelmed or burdened or perhaps even resentful to stop and ask yourself these prompts.

Where do I feel deprived?

What do I need more of right now?

What do I need less of?

What am I yearning for?

Who or what is causing me to feel resentful and why?

What am I starving for?

And your answers to those questions will help you identify the areas of your life that are calling out for your greater consciousness.

An increase in the awareness of your heart and soul of what needs to change to keep you from feeling deprived.

And when you're doing this exercise it's important that you're as specific as possible with your needs.

So instead of writing I feel deprived because I have no time to myself for example,

You might say something more along the lines or write something along the lines of I feel deprived of solitary,

Uninterrupted time away from my friends and family which allows me to do something just for me such as maybe reading a good novel or taking myself out to lunch or meeting up for a friend for no reason other than just to catch up and talk or to take a quiet bath.

Taking time to truly be introspective and taking time to arrive rather than creating your answers thoughtfully is going to allow you to create that greater connection and clarity of what your soul truly needs so that you don't feel deprived.

And I'm going to give you an example in case you need more.

Instead of acknowledging that you need to eat better you may think about how particular foods have made you feel in the past and recognize that maybe,

Just maybe you have more energy when you avoid meat or dairy or processed foods and so perhaps you'll create the opportunity where you can eat more vegetables throughout your week.

And another example would be rather than noticing that you're tired or directing other people or meetings at work you could write out or express to yourself I need someone to run staff meetings on Mondays and take notes and then distribute and pass out those notes to the appropriate people.

Another example could be instead of simply realizing that you need help from other people you could become clear and write about the kind of specific help you need by jotting down something like I need someone to do the laundry every week and fold it and put it away for me.

I need to have the lawn mowed by Saturday when I'm not around so I don't have to think about it and during that time I'm going to go grocery shopping and then prep food for the week.

Now these are just some examples of ways you can activate and get connected to yourself.

Other needs you might need to explore and dive into is perhaps getting more restful sleep developing a creative outlet creating a foundation for soul nourishing friendships considering ways to move in a fun or adventurous way so that fitness feels inspiring to you identifying and seeking pleasurable experiences and activities that really leave you feeling lit up and inspired to live your life in a bigger way.

And in the end becoming more aware of how you experience deprivation in your life is really critical to making the changes that's required to achieve the optimal higher life and wellness and happiness that you truly desire and to really keep that inner antenna that spiritual antenna finely tuned to what you truly need.

And if you're listening to this and you want more support or ideas please reach out send me a message I would love to hear from you.

And after this journaling exercise I ask you to return to yourself placing one hand on your heart another on your belly and silently internally or externally whispering to yourself I am whole I am complete I am so loved just as I am no more no less.

Keep repeating that three more times on your own breathing in for a count of five through your nose and out through your nose and upon waking you will feel regenerated grounded excited and ready to take on your day again.

And remember before you open your eyes to visualize the path ahead paved with peace and that as you stand up or sit up that we with each foot that you put forth today that that is the step of a peacemaker stepping forward into your life with peace with love and believe that you deserve it because you do.

You are loved you are seen and you are received.

We love you so much from our hearts to yours.
