Welcome.
Take a moment to arrive exactly as you are.
There's nothing to fix.
Nothing to force.
Nothing to figure out.
Simply allow yourself to be here.
If it feels comfortable,
Gently close your eyes.
Begin by noticing your natural breath.
Not changing it.
Just observing it.
Notice where you feel your breath most.
Perhaps it's your chest?
Your belly.
Or simply the sensation of air moving through your nose.
Wherever you notice it is exactly enough.
Sometimes life asks so much of us that our attention slowly drifts away from ourselves.
We become focused on what needs to be done.
What might happen next?
What others are thinking?
Without realizing it,
We begin living from stress instead of presence.
Today,
We're gently returning home.
Not by controlling the mind.
But by guiding the body back towards safety through the breath.
Begin inhaling softly through your nose for 4,
2,
3,
4.
Exhale gently through your mouth for 6,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
Again,
Inhale 2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
And exhale 2 3 4 5 6 Continue at this rhythm.
A four-count inhale.
And a six count exhale.
With every longer exhale.
Imagine your nervous system receiving the message.
I am safe in this moment.
No matter what waits outside this practice,
Right now,
You are simply breathing.
Notice your shoulders.
Allow them to soften.
Relax your jaw.
And clench your hands.
Let your forehead smooth.
There is nowhere else you need to be.
Sometimes feeling misaligned isn't because you've lost yourself.
It's because your attention has been pulled in too many directions for too long.
The breath becomes a way of gathering your energy.
Calling it back.
One inhale at a time.
One exhale at a time.
Continue breathing.
Inhaling for 4.
.
.
And exhaling for six.
Imagine each exhale dissolving tension that no longer needs to be carried.
Not forcing it away.
Simply allowing it to leave whenever it's ready.
Picture your breath creating space inside you.
Space between your thoughts.
Space inside your chest.
Space around your emotions.
The more space you create.
The easier it becomes to hear your own inner wisdom.
Now silently repeat after me.
With each inhale,
I return to myself.
With each exhale,
I release what isn't mine to carry.
Again,
I return to myself.
I release what isn't mine to carry.
Allow those words to settle into your body rather than simply your mind.
Notice how your breath feels now.
Perhaps a little slower.
Perhaps a little fuller.
Perhaps simply more present.
There's no right experience.
Only awareness.
And awareness is where change begins.
Take one of your deepest breaths yet.
Fill your lungs completely.
And slowly exhale.
Let everything soften.
One more full inhale.
Receiving fresh energy,
Fresh clarity,
Fresh presence.
And exhaling slowly.
Grounding yourself into this moment.
Remember,
Alignment isn't about becoming someone new.
It's about returning to who you are beneath the stress.
Your breath will always be here.
Ready to guide you back.
Whenever you need it.
Take one final gentle breath.
And when you're ready,
Slowly begin bringing awareness back into the room.
Perhaps wiggle your fingers.
Your toes.
Maybe roll your shoulders.
And when it feels right.
Gently open your eyes.
Thank yourself for taking these moments to care for your mind,
Your body.
Injured nervous system.
Carry the steadiness with you into the rest of your day.
Namaste.
