Take a moment.
To.
.
.
Bring your attention.
Inside.
End.
And as you do so,
Start.
Start with your feet.
And just.
.
.
Begin to scan your body.
Feeling your feet on the floor.
The sensations.
Of your heels.
Toes.
The balls of your feet.
Noticing.
Your ankles.
Your calves,
And as you scan your body,
Notice.
As you go.
Those areas of tension.
And those areas.
That are calm.
Or neutral.
Or free of pain.
You may have to search.
For those places.
But they are there.
As you bring your attention.
Through your thighs,
Your pelvis.
Noticing your ribcage.
Again.
Observe.
Where you feel points of tension.
And where you find.
Even very small places.
That are calm,
That are warm,
That are free of pain.
Continue to scam.
Until.
.
.
You have scanned.
All the way up.
To the top of your head.
For those of you who experience.
Chronic pain.
It may be challenging.
To find a place that is free of pain.
Don't forget.
To check your left earlobe.
The back of your head.
Just being curious.
To find that.
That one place.
Or maybe more than one place.
That is free of pain.
And that is God.
Calm,
Still,
Like a pond.
Own.
A warm summer's day.
And when you find that place,
That's still a point.
Bring all of your attention to it.
Notice.
How you can tell.
That it's still and calm.
Is it?
The relaxing.
Of the muscles.
Is it?
A sense of warmth.
Radiating from this still point.
Is it.
.
.
The way this.
Calm,
Still place.
Invite.
A breath.
Is it the way that.
.
.
Attention.
To this still point.
Begins.
To calm your whole body.
Linger.
Right there.
Even though there may be.
Places of tension or pain.
Calling your attention.
They may be saying,
Look at me.
Listen to me.
Feel me.
Notice.
Your attention being drawn.
To those places.
That are more painful.
And then bring your attention back to this still point.
And welcome it.
Then again,
You might.
.
.
Find another.
More tense or painful place in your body calling your attention.
Notice it and then bring your attention.
To this still calm place.
That is the practice.
We don't.
Always get a life.
That is free of pain or stress.
This still point.
Is a place we can return.
Time after time after time.
And take in.
That calm,
That stillness.
That relaxation.
And that warmth.
