The intention of this meditation is to help you ease into your pregnancy,

To connect with your growing baby inside of you,

To let go of any anxiety you may be feeling about this new chapter in your life,

To breathe through any physical discomfort you may be having and ultimately to honor the incredible miracle that you are experiencing.

So let's begin.

Get yourself into a comfortable position.

You can be sitting,

Lying down or even walking slowly.

Any position where you feel relaxed and alert.

Feel free to close your eyes if you are not walking.

Bring your attention to your breath.

Notice the sensation of the air moving in and out of your body.

Take slow and deep breaths.

As you inhale,

Feel your belly expanding.

As you exhale,

Make sure you breathe out completely.

Bring your breathing to a relaxed and regular rhythm.

Feel your body getting just a little bit heavier,

Allowing yourself to relax deeper into your position.

Inhale,

Breathe in a soothing,

Calm energy,

Feeling it soften your body and soften your mind.

Exhale,

Breathe out any tension,

Stress or discomfort.

Breathe in calm,

Breathe out tension.

Place your hands on your belly as you settle into this pregnancy meditation.

Notice a warmth in the palm of your hands.

Imagine that warmth as a calming,

Glowing yellow light as it glows from your hands onto your belly.

You can see warm yellow light radiating from your hands entering your body.

Watch how tenderly it embraces your little one.

Your love,

Your light,

Warmly holding your little miracle inside of you.

Take a deep breath in,

Expanding your belly,

Watching as the yellow glow shines brighter.

And exhale,

Feeling calm and relaxed.

Your body may have been feeling uncomfortable lately.

Perhaps you're feeling nauseous,

Low on energy,

Tired or even in pain.

Take a moment to bring to mind all the physical discomforts you are and have been feeling during your pregnancy.

If any related thoughts,

Worries or judgments about your body come up,

Just acknowledge them and visualize yourself letting them float away into the sky.

Keep bringing your attention back to your body throughout this pregnancy meditation.

Feeling yourself expand and contract as you breathe.

Your body is doing magical and hard work right now.

So over the next minute,

Breathe in some grace for your body.

Appreciation for what it's doing for you and your baby.

Breathe in grace.

Bring your awareness,

Calm yellow glow in your hands.

Take a deep breath in,

Feel the calm yellow glow now expanding to your entire body.

And as you breathe out,

Feel the warmth of your yellow light center you.

What a miracle you are right now.

What a magical being you are creating.

Take a few more deep breaths and when you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes if you have them closed,

Feeling rested and refreshed.

Thank you for taking the time to practice some nurturing self-love.

Remember to return to this guided meditation whenever you need a moment of calm and relaxation during your pregnancy.
