This grounding body scan meditation is designed to reconnect you with the present moment and cultivate a deep sense of awareness. As you find a comfortable position, lying down or seated, you'll be guided to gently focus your attention on different parts of your body, from the tips of your toes to the crown of your head. This mindful exploration helps to release stress, ground your thoughts, and bring about a profound relaxation. By the end of the meditation, you'll feel more centered, connected, and at peace with your physical self.

Transcript

Beginning at the very top of your head now,

Imagining this wave of relaxation flowing down your scalp,

Relaxing the wrinkles in your forehead,

Softening the space between your eyebrows,

Relaxing the four corners of your eyes,

And softening the space around your nose,

Lips,

And jaw.

Relaxing the shoulders away from the ears now,

As you let your arms become heavy at your side,

Softening any tension in your belly as you feel the sides of your body spread like water,

Allowing the tension to release from the very top of your thighs where they meet your hips,

And feeling this wave of relaxation flow down the thighs,

Circling around the kneecaps,

From your kneecaps down the length of your shins,

Relaxing the ankles away from the body,

As you feel this relaxation flow down and out of the very bottom of your feet.

Take a breath into the body with the space you've created,

And allow the exhale to wash away any remaining tension.
