Wherever you are,
Close your eyes now.
Or maybe gaze softly a few inches in front of you.
Letting yourself arrive.
Letting yourself go inward.
Beginning to listen and notice your breath.
As you feel it weaving in and out of each of your bones,
Your joints,
And your muscles.
Letting your breath fill the pieces of your soul.
Letting it break down any barriers to the present moment.
And letting it help you to settle your heart,
Settle your mind,
And settle your body.
Feeling the body start to relax now.
Maybe placing your hands gently at your side,
Or rest them on your belly.
And as you take several long and slow deep breaths,
In through your nose,
And out through your nose.
Breathing in fully,
And breathing out completely.
And with each breath in,
Envision your body filling with light,
Love,
And positivity.
And with each breath out,
Envision tension,
Fear,
And worries leaving your body.
And with each breath out,
Envision tension,
Fear,
And worries leaving your body.
Knowing that you are exactly where you need to be in this moment.
That in this moment,
All is well.
Take a few moments now to notice what's circling in your mind.
Is there anything holding you back from being fully present in this moment?
Now take a deep breath in as the inhale reaches the top of your lungs.
And sigh it all out,
Letting it go into the space around you.
Now take one more just like that,
Breathing deep,
Finding the top of your inhale.
Open mouth exhale,
Let it all go.
Your only job right now is to focus on you and this particular moment.
And beginning to return to your normal breathing now,
In through your nose and out through your nose.
Focusing on making your breath smooth and even.
As you breathe in,
Feel your belly expand.
And as you breathe out,
Feel your whole body melt closer to the ground.
Feeling your muscles relax as your body continues to become more and more at ease.
And on your next inhale,
Gently guide your attention to the very top of your head now.
Envision your scalp fully relaxing,
Releasing any wrinkles in your forehead,
And softening the space between your eyebrows.
Letting your eyes soften.
Letting your temples release.
Letting your ears simply float in space as you begin to relax your nose,
Your tongue,
Your jaw,
And your chin.
Noticing an inhale in through the nose.
Noticing an exhale in through the nose.
And then use your exhale to soften your shoulders.
Continuing the relaxation down your upper arms.
Down your elbows.
Down into your lower arms as well.
Taking a moment to gently roll your wrists a couple times.
As you let them find stillness again,
Feel your arms getting even heavier as they relax.
Letting your entire hand melt.
As you imagine all ten fingers floating with ease.
Taking a full inhale in.
And as you exhale,
Notice the belly softening.
Your ribcage and your chest following suit.
As you begin to notice the parts of your hips that are touching the earth.
As if your hips were an overflowing glass of clear,
Running water spilling out of the top of a tall glass.
Envision your right and left hips spreading slightly as you release tension in both directions.
Letting them melt and relax.
Now,
Either literally or energetically,
Invite both of your legs to fall half an inch closer to the ground as they relax and release.
Relaxing your thighs.
Relaxing your calves and your shins.
And then taking a moment now to roll out each ankle if it's accessible to you.
And as you invite stillness to them once again,
Notice how it makes your legs feel heavy and relaxed.
Bringing your awareness to both feet,
Letting them physically or energetically release.
As you allow each muscle to soften and let go.
Now,
Traveling your awareness to your whole body.
From the top of your head all the way down to your toes now.
Envisioning that every cell is relaxed and resting.
And taking a few moments to just be here now for as much time as you need.
And then coming back only when you're ready to finish.
