Ode To Love (Heart Opener)

How beautiful it is when we allow ourselves to love… To fully open our hearts. This song is part ‘affirmation,’ part ‘contemporary mantra.’ I wrote and sung it spontaneously, after the loss of my beloved Maple (cocker spaniel). It is intended to open hearts. The moment encapsulates all my experiences of loss. And how truly beautiful it is. For only when we open our hearts to the depths of pain, can we open our hearts to the depths of love.
