Begin this exercise shortly after you wake up.
You may want to sit on your bed,
Your couch,
Or the chair.
As long as you are able to sit up tall with your spine straight.
Relax your shoulders.
Let your hand force naturally onto your lap.
When you are ready,
Softly close your eyes.
Take a moment to feel your body and to feel your breaths.
Notice if any sensation arrives.
Perhaps you might feel the coolness of the tip of your nose as you breathe in.
Feel the presence and connection of your body and mind.
We will begin by taking 3 deep breaths.
As you breathe in,
Allow your chest to fully expand.
When you reach the top,
Hold for 3 seconds.
And then breathe out with an audible sigh.
Ahhhhhhhhhh Let it all go.
Once again,
A full breath in.
Feel your lung completely and holding it for 3 seconds.
And then ahhhhhhhhhh Letting it all out.
Return to your normal breathing and I want you now to think of a time that you felt pure joy.
Perhaps one of the happiest moments in your life.
Gently guide yourself back right at that very moment.
What could you see?
What could you hear?
And how did you feel?
Really generate the same feeling of emotions in your heart center.
As this feeling of happiness has been generated,
Allow it to expand from your heart to the entire body.
From your heart to your abdomen,
Your arms,
Your legs and to the tip of your toes.
Feel your body with this positive energy and bring this energy with you to the rest of your day.
You might find it strange,
But just imagine bringing this positive and joyful energy with you wherever you go.
When we spend a few minutes in the morning to set our intention for the day,
It can really make a big difference.
An intention is not what we are planning to do,
But rather it's how we want to feel.
It could be something that we want to be conscious of or a sensation that you want to go your day by.
Now let's set an intention for the day.
And if you can't settle into anything,
Just simply choose love.
Next,
I would gently say a few mantras to start off our day.
You may want to repeat it after me or just simply listen to my mantras.
I am blessed,
Grateful and abundant.
I easily handle whatever comes my way.
I have all the answers within me.
I am thankful for my body that allows me to achieve anything in life.
I am excited of all the opportunities and possibilities that awaits me today.
I am productive and prosperous.
My confidence and creativity inspires others.
Now inhale and exhale.
Today is going to be a great day.
