Often what detour us from being more accepting is our own emotions of fear, criticism or denial. It's only when we become more familiar of ourselves and of what we are resisting, we can incrementally become more accepting. With this exercise, together, we'll become a better version of ourselves. Slowly, but surely.

The more we get older,

Maybe the more we resist to accept new things in our life or for new changes.

So for today,

This exercise is to help you to notice what you are resisting.

And it's only when we realize that we resist something or someone,

And the more likely that we are going to accept it.

It's not to say to accept anything that comes into our life and not try our best to achieve what we want,

But it's more like to accept whatever life throws at us,

To go with the flow and to let go of the tight control that we have in our life.

So to begin,

Sit comfortably on the floor,

Feel that your spine is elongating and your weight is sinking down.

Begin to close your eyes and bring your awareness to your breath.

Deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.

Once more,

Inhale through your nose and a deep exhale through your mouth.

Observe the movement of your body as you breathe and be connected with your body during your breath.

Don't forget to relax your shoulder and let it drop.

Now you may do a quick scan of your body and see if there is any tightness or tension that you are currently feeling in your body.

Scan from the top of your head to the tip of your toes,

Your shoulders,

Your arms,

The front of your body,

Your back,

Down to your thighs and knees,

To each of your toes.

Now as you are feeling more relaxed,

I want you to think about who or what are you resisting in your life right now.

Simply observe if anything arises in your mind as you are hearing my questions.

Who or what are you resisting in your life right now?

Allow any thoughts to come to the surface.

It may be some regrets in your life or something that you are always holding back on to or someone that you are missing in your life.

Recognising any feelings or thoughts that arise in your body and mind.

Remember you don't need to force an answer,

Just see what comes out in your mind.

And during this time don't forget to focus on your breath.

Noticing your breath moving in and out.

Sometimes a very strong feeling might come up or sometimes nothing at all.

And you can feel the energy coming up from your body.

You can feel the energy coming up from your body.

Sometimes a very strong feeling might come up or sometimes nothing at all.

Both are okay.

You don't need to caught up in your thoughts,

Just let them go and bring your tension back to your breathing.

As we are becoming more aware of the situation,

We will let our mind be more familiar with the situation and slowly with this practice,

You might find yourself that you are no longer resisting someone or something anymore.

Just gently ask yourself who or what are you resisting in your life right now.

Now I will repeat a few mantras.

You may want to repeat after me or just simply hear what I say.

I let go of my fear and control over my life.

I accept anything that comes up in my life with courage and love.

Gently bring your tension back to this room,

Your surrounding.

We will take one more deep breath together,

A deep inhale and a slow exhale.

Now gently open your eyes.

Hope that this exercise have brought you some clarity in your mind.

See you next time.

Bye.
