Good morning everybody.
Happy morning to you.
Happy meditation.
Right?
So today I am really excited to talk about the throat chakra.
We're going to talk about,
Before we get into our meditation,
I want to talk about the throat chakra and what it means,
What it does.
One of the things that I really,
Really appreciate about the Black Lives Matter movement is that I've seen it come from the beginning to what it is now.
Yesterday I spent a lot of time looking into exactly what the movement is,
Right?
All of that stuff,
And that was part of the Blackout Tuesday thing.
I am so impressed by the authentic nature of what it's about.
That got me thinking about the throat chakra.
Of course it does,
Right?
Because I always think about anything that happens in life,
I go spiritually on it,
Right?
But here's the thing.
These people,
These thousands and thousands and thousands of people,
The reason why you're seeing so much emotion is because they are accessing and living and being their purpose.
They are purely being authentically their purpose.
Isn't that amazing to do?
I mean seriously,
Do you know your purpose in life?
I'm really,
Really fortunate that I feel like I do,
But I didn't for many,
Many,
Many years.
And I think that's so important,
And I think that's why we're seeing so much emotion,
Is because they're speaking their truth,
Being their truth,
Living their truth.
And that's such a huge and awesome thing to do.
Whatever your truth is,
Being it,
Living your purpose.
Crazy,
Right?
So aside from that,
Everything that's been happening,
Right?
Let's not forget that we've got a solar eclipse coming up.
We've got the full moon coming up on Friday.
In Los Angeles time,
The full moon is at 12 12 p.
M.
So like noon.
So the energy is gonna be a little bit funky,
And it's gonna continue on being a little bit funky here and there,
And that's okay.
That's absolutely okay.
You know,
I'm so impressed,
And I keep thinking about,
You know,
With all the changes in the energy on the planet and all of the stuff that's going on in the world,
It's all part of this,
Okay,
And this is gonna,
People are gonna,
Might have a difference of opinion on this,
But it's all part of the big plan,
I think.
It's all part of this big cleansing that we've been going through,
Personally and,
Personally and,
You know,
World-wise,
Right?
So today we are focusing on the Vishuddha Shukra,
Which is the throat chakra,
And what the throat chakra does,
It allows us to have confidence in who we are,
And it allows us that confidence in allowing us to speak our own personal truth.
That's why I'm so excited about speaking about the throat chakra.
Throat chakra,
Man,
It's,
You know,
Like people always talk about the third eye and the heart chakra and stuff,
But I'll tell you what,
The throat chakra,
Man,
It is important because if we're not our truth in the world,
Then what are we?
Right?
Think that through for just a minute.
If you aren't being your personal truth,
What are you being?
So that's to get ready into our meditation,
So let's get ourselves comfortable,
Right?
I have had some shoulder issues and it's like,
Whoo,
Okay,
Let's get ourselves,
Let's pay attention to our shoulders.
Oh my goodness.
So today we're going to,
Well first of all,
Let's close our eyes,
Get yourself in a comfortable position,
And let's start to consider,
Let's put some attention on our throat chakra.
Let's put some attention right on our throat chakra,
And I want us all to,
We're going to choose who you would like to dedicate today's meditation to.
A lot of days I will choose someone that is in need,
A group of people in need,
Or a friend that's having an issue,
To dedicate my meditation to.
So choose who you would like to dedicate your meditation to today,
And it could be yourself.
You could be going through something really,
Really major,
And it's absolutely fine to,
Not dedicate it to anyone,
Dedicate it to yourself,
Whatever it is,
Right?
Now I want us to start to relax our bodies,
Relax our head and our neck,
All of our muscles,
Our shoulders,
Put some attention on your shoulders because that's a huge place that holds so,
So much tension,
Right?
Relax our arms and our chest,
Our abdomen,
Our pelvis area,
Our hips,
Just go down your body,
And as you're doing that,
Relax every part,
Your legs,
Your feet,
Your toes.
Great job.
Now let's take a nice long,
Slow,
Deep breath in through your nose,
Really,
Really slow,
Breathe in,
And hold it there for just a second,
And breathe out.
Beautiful.
As we get ready to start our morning and start our meditation,
I want us,
As we're focusing on our throat chakra,
Today during our meditation,
Two things.
One is to envision and see the color blue.
The Vishuddha chakra is blue,
That really cool,
Not a dark blue,
But a really cool light to medium blue.
So in your mind's eye,
See that and put your attention,
And you can even put your hand on your throat,
Just so that we keep our attention on our throat chakra.
The sound that goes with the throat chakra is hum,
H-A-M,
Hum.
So we're going to use that as our mantra today,
And as we start our meditation and bring into our awareness who we are dedicating our meditation to today.
Let's use the mantra hum and focus on the color blue.
Don't worry about the time,
I've got that covered.
If you find yourself drifting a bit,
It's absolutely okay,
Bring yourself back to hum and the color blue.
And let's begin.
Hum,
Hum,
Hum.
Hum,
Hum,
Hum.
Hum,
Hum,
Hum.
Hum,
Hum,
Hum.
Hum,
Hum,
Hum.
Hum,
Hum,
Hum.
Hum,
Hum,
Hum.
Hum,
Hum,
Hum.
Hum,
Hum,
Hum.
Hum,
Hum,
Hum.
Let's start bringing our focus back to our bodies.
Start to move our fingers and toes a little bit.
Let's seal this meditation with a beautiful deep breath in through our nose,
Very slow.
And hold it,
Hold it,
And release.
And whenever you feel comfortable,
You can open your eyes.
Hum,
How did that feel?
I,
I,
Um,
The throat chakra,
It's,
Um,
I don't want to say it's a forgotten chakra or anything,
Because,
You know,
But,
Um,
You know,
A lot of people think,
And they talk about the third eye and the heart chakra,
But,
Boy,
There's something about the throat chakra that allows you to be who you're supposed to be in the world kind of thing,
You know?
So,
Um,
I love that,
Love that.
So thank you for joining me today for that.
And,
Um,
I really appreciate each and every one of you.
And thank you for joining for this meditation.
And until tomorrow,
Everybody,
Namaste,
Have a great day,
And,
Um,
Take care.
Bye bye.
