Today we are going to explore the quiet universe within you.
That special place where you can calm your mind and relax your body.
Find a comfortable place to sit or lay and rest your hands on your lap or by your sides.
Now gently close your eyes and let's begin.
Let's start by paying attention to your breath.
Feel your breath flowing in and out of your nostrils like a gentle breeze.
Allow this gentle breeze to flow in and out of your body.
Blowing away all your worries and all your concerns.
This gentle breeze feels so soothing as it flows in and out with your breath.
Feel your whole body becoming so,
So relaxed and feel all your muscles becoming so,
So soft.
Today in our meditation we are going to explore the many parts that exist within you.
Did you know that you have many wonderful parts that make you you?
It's pretty amazing all the characters we all have inside of us.
Changing throughout our day.
Now to help you understand this I would like you to imagine that you are at the movies holding a big box of warm buttery popcorn.
As you enjoy your delicious popcorn you can now see yourself as the main character on the big movie screen.
Thankfully you begin to pay close attention watching the movie with curiosity and without any judgement.
There you are appearing across the screen having a fantastic time chatting and hanging out with your friends.
You see that this is happy you on the screen and it feels amazing to watch yourself feeling like this.
Life feels so good.
Just stay with this feeling.
Now you see yourself laying on your comfy bed reading your favourite book on a lazy afternoon.
And this is relaxed you appearing in the movie.
Watch yourself reading relaxing and just chilling out.
Watching this scene in the movie makes you feel so calm right now.
As you watch the screen closely you now see yourself standing on a huge stage about to do a speech in front of the whole school.
You are looking nervous.
And you are now watching nervous you across the big screen.
You imagine the butterflies going around in your belly.
That's okay.
It's normal to get nervous.
See yourself breathing in and out and practicing your mindfulness.
Let's do it now.
Gently breathing in right down into your belly.
And gently breathing out.
Letting go of all those butterflies.
That feels better now.
And see yourself delivering your speech effortlessly and the whole audience clapping.
It feels amazing.
The scene changes again.
And as you watch the screen you can see it is now lunchtime at school.
And you are doing something so so funny.
And all your friends can't stop laughing.
You are laughing too.
In fact you are laughing so much your belly hurts.
You smile as funny you is now appearing across the screen.
How does it feel watching this scene in the movie and watching the funny side of you?
Stay with this awesome feeling for a moment.
All that is happening here is just real.
The movie is about to end now and it finishes with one last scene showing and embracing some more wonderful sides of you.
You watch with a big smile.
There is serious you.
Helpful you.
Smart you.
Cheeky you.
Confident you.
And the movie finishes with peaceful you.
