Begin by simply arriving in this space.
Let your body settle into a position that feels natural and supported.
Feel the surface beneath you holding your weight.
Unclench your jaw,
Soften your shoulders,
Allow your face to release a bit of the tension it might be holding,
And very gently close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and a long breath out through your mouth.
Let's do that one more time,
Inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly.
There is nothing you need to do right now,
Nowhere else you need to be.
Just be in the present,
In this space.
Welcome to this New Moon in Aries guided meditation.
Aries is the beginning of the Zodiac.
It marks the moment where energy shifts from stillness into movement.
And we can mirror this in ourselves by connecting to something inside of us that is ready to begin again.
Not in a forced way,
Not in the way we are told to reset at the start of the year,
But in a way that feels natural and aligned.
With the change of season,
With the return of light,
When life begins to move again,
We are given the perfect opportunity to set intentions for the year.
Aries energy is direct,
It's instinctive,
It's honest.
It does not overthink.
It does not wait for the perfect moment.
It responds to what it feels and it moves.
And that is why this New Moon can feel quite intense.
It can bring up feelings of restlessness,
Of impatience,
Maybe even frustration,
Because there is something within you that is ready to shift,
Ready to act,
Ready to move forward in a way that perhaps you have been holding back from.
And this is not a moment for long lists or over-analysing what your next step should be.
This is a moment to come back into your body,
To reconnect with your instinct,
And to listen to what feels true beneath all of the noise.
So don't try to think your way through this practice.
Just allow yourself to drop out of your head and into your body.
Bring your awareness into your breath,
Into your chest,
And then gently guide it down into your stomach,
Into your gut.
That space just below your ribs,
Where you feel things before you understand them,
Where your instinct lives.
If it feels right for you,
You can place a hand there and just notice what is here,
What is present.
Notice how you feel when you connect to this area.
Take a breath into your gut,
And as you exhale,
Just soften into it.
Let yourself really land here.
There is an intelligence in this part of you.
It doesn't need to explain itself.
It just knows.
And this is what you are reconnecting with now.
I'm going to ask you now to imagine yourself standing at the beginning of a wide open path.
There is nothing behind you pulling you back,
Nothing in front of you blocking your way.
All you see is space,
Fresh,
Open,
Full of potential.
This is your starting point.
Feel the energy of this new moon here.
It is forward moving,
It is clear,
Decisive.
It certainly doesn't hesitate.
It trusts itself enough to begin.
Notice what happens in your body as you stand here on this wide open path.
Maybe there is a spark of excitement,
A sense of readiness.
You might also feel some resistance.
Whatever you feel is welcome.
You don't need to feel a certain way to move forward.
You just need to be willing to listen to yourself.
Bring your awareness back into your gut.
And from this place,
Ask yourself quietly,
What am I ready to move towards now?
Let the answer come from your body,
Not your mind.
Don't rush it,
Don't force it.
Just stay connected to yourself and allow something to surface.
Whatever comes up,
Even if it feels subtle,
Trust it.
What are you ready to move towards now?
So whatever has come to you,
I want you to allow it to become one clear intention.
And by that I don't mean to make a list,
No multiple directions,
Just one clear intention.
Something that feels real,
Something that feels alive.
It might come through as a thought that keeps repeating itself,
Or maybe it's something you've been putting off,
Or something you keep saying you want to do but haven't moved on yet.
Just let this come to you in the way it needs to.
It might be obvious,
It might be quieter.
Maybe it's more of a pull than a very clear idea.
And whatever it is,
Don't dismiss it because it feels too simple or too direct.
Sometimes the right intention is the one that has been there for a while,
Waiting for you to actively choose it.
Once you recognise it,
Bring it into one clear sentence.
I am ready to.
.
.
I am ready to.
.
.
Just one thing,
One direction.
And then stop there and let that become your intention.
And now from your gut,
Make a decision.
A real one,
A clear one.
Not something vague or something you might come back to later.
But a decision that you are choosing this direction.
There is real strength in this,
In this choice.
A grounded,
Steady strength.
It's not loud,
It's not forced,
But it is certain.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Imagine that decision anchoring into your body,
Into your gut,
Into your energy field.
This is no longer just an idea.
It is something you are connected to.
And come back to that wide open path now.
And just see yourself taking the first step forward.
You don't need to see the whole path,
Just the first step.
And feel it.
The shift from thinking into action.
Notice what changes as you take that step.
There might be a sense of expansion or confidence.
Or maybe a feeling of alignment.
This is what happens when you move in line with yourself and your decisions.
So bring your awareness back once more to your gut.
This is your anchor.
This is where you return when things feel unclear.
When doubt appears.
When you feel pulled off course.
You simply come back here,
And you listen to yourself.
Take another deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Allow your intention to settle even deeper within you.
Not something outside of you,
Not something you need to chase.
But something that already exists within you,
Ready to be lived.
This is not about becoming someone new.
It is about trusting who you already are,
And allowing that to guide your actions.
And trust that you don't have to force this into reality on your own.
This new moon marks the beginning of a cycle.
And what you have chosen now is being supported,
Held,
And given space to grow by the energy of this new moon.
Begin to bring your awareness back to the space around you.
Notice the room,
The sounds,
The feeling of your body where you are.
And if you'd like to,
You can gently start to move your fingers and toes,
Reconnecting with your physical space.
And whenever you feel ready,
You can softly open your eyes.
And carry this with you,
Not as pressure,
But as direction.
You do not need to have everything figured out.
You just need to trust your gut and take the first step.
Thank you very much for meditating with me today.
It has been an absolute pleasure to guide you.
