Welcome.

My name is Ipek Williamson.

I'd like to start this meditation with a quote from myself.

As we journey down the staircase of relaxation,

We shed layers of tension and embrace the essence of calm.

Please find a comfortable setting,

Either lying down or sitting comfortably.

This meditation is ideal especially before sleep as it promotes relaxation and invites rest.

Close your eyes gently,

Allowing the weight of your eyelids to signal the beginning of relaxation.

Take a deep,

Soothing breath in through your nose,

Drawing in calmness,

And exhale slowly through your mouth,

Releasing any tension.

Now visualize yourself standing at the top of a beautiful marble staircase,

Gently illuminated by soft,

Calming light.

There are ten steps leading downward,

Each one guiding you deeper into relaxation.

You know that with each step you take,

You will feel yourself becoming more serene and at ease.

Step onto the first step and count with me.

10.

Your relaxation doubles.

9.

Letting your relaxation multiply 8.

Doubling the calmness you feel 7.

Doubling many times more 6.

Allow your relaxation to double again 5.

Noticing how you can relax twice as much with each number 4.

It feels so very good to multiply this relaxing feeling 3.

Letting your calmness double again 2.

Amplify the relaxation.

And 1.

You are at the bottom of the staircase,

Now a thousand times more relaxed than when you Here,

You find a door slightly ajar,

Inviting you in.

You gently push it open to enter a corridor filled by soft,

Soothing light.

Along the corridor,

There are many doors,

Each leading to different aspects of your inner world.

A kind-looking guardian stands nearby,

Offering you a warm smile.

You ask to be guided to your personal sanctuary.

The guardian nods and leads you to a door that feels uniquely yours.

As you open the door and step inside,

You take in the surroundings of your sanctuary.

It's a cozy library filled with books.

There is a fireplace that warms the room.

It's the most comfortable space you have ever been.

This room is a reflection of your inner self.

You find a comfortable place to sit within this space,

Cover yourself with a soft blanket and invite your subconscious,

Higher self or spirit guides to join you.

And you engage in a silent conversation,

Asking what messages or insights they have for you.

And you listen with an open heart,

Absorbing the wisdom shared.

You have the best time of the day,

Or even the year.

After expressing gratitude for the guidance received,

You stand and make your way back to the door.

You close it gently,

Knowing you can return here whenever you wish.

And then you retrace your steps to the marble staircase.

And you begin ascending,

Counting each step.

2,

3,

4,

5.

With each step,

You feel better and better than before.

6,

7,

8,

9 and 10.

As you reach the top,

You take a moment to acknowledge the peace you have cultivated.

It's a beautiful feeling.

Now it is time to gently bring your awareness back to here and now.

You can wiggle your fingers and toes.

You can stretch if needed.

And you can choose to open your eyes or go to sleep,

Carrying the serenity and insights from this journey into your life.

Thank you Ipek. That was beautiful I loved the gentle well paced decent to my sanctuary. The piano was a beautiful ambiance as was your voice. I definitely had my blanket on my lap. Thank you for the gentle ascension back to wakefulness for I did this late afternoon. I could see this also a very good track to fall asleep to.

Ipek!! This was amazing. My FAVORITE little detail was the cozy blanket. As I stepped into the sanctuary my mind began to fill in details and I saw a chaise lounge I used to have with a fluffy cozy delicious blankie and then you said get cozy and tucked in with the blanket and my heart was so happy you included it in the story. Thanks for this. 🤗🙏🫶🥰
