Within each of us,

There is a little child who needs love,

Care,

And understanding.

Louise Hay Please begin by finding a comfortable space.

Being either seated or lying down.

If you can,

Gently close your eyes and take a long and deep breath in.

Then,

Slowly exhale.

Allow your breath to guide you into a state of calm and relaxation.

As you breathe in,

Imagine drawing in a sense of peace and as you breathe out,

Let go of any tension,

Any worries,

Or fear.

Feel your body becoming lighter,

More at ease with every breath you take.

Breathing in deeply and breathing out slowly,

Releasing anything that does not serve you in this very moment.

Allow your mind to become quiet,

Letting your thoughts settle like leaves falling gently to the ground.

Feel yourself relaxing deeply as though you are sinking into a soft,

Warm,

Comforting place within.

Picture an inviting and cozy spot where you can truly rest and feel safe,

Like an inner sanctuary that you can always return to.

Now,

In this calm and comforting space,

Imagine the presence of a child nearby.

This child is your inner child,

A younger version of you.

Notice how this child looks,

How old they seem,

And what kind of energy they are bringing into this moment.

This child may have been feeling a little tired,

A little overwhelmed,

Or maybe even a bit lost.

Take a moment to gently acknowledge this inner child.

Let them know that you see them,

That you are here with them,

And that you are ready to give your full attention.

You might want to say,

I'm here now,

And I'm ready to listen.

There is no need to rush this connection.

Just allow the child to be however they are.

Your inner child might want to sit beside you or curl up in your arms.

Or prefer a little distance.

Let them choose what feels comfortable.

Whatever is chosen is perfectly okay.

Gently speak to your inner child.

Say,

I see you.

I accept you just as you are.

If you're feeling scared,

It's okay.

If you're feeling sad,

That's okay too.

Whatever you're feeling,

I'm here for you.

Take a moment to let them know that there is no need to hide or change anything.

You are here.

And you are ready to accept your inner child with love and compassion.

Now allow your inner child to express themselves.

Perhaps there is something they want to show you.

Something they've been feeling.

Or something they've been trying to tell you for a long time.

Let them know that it's safe to share whatever is on their mind.

And that you are here to listen.

Without judgment.

Ask your inner child,

What do you need right now?

What would make you feel safe,

Loved and understood?

And take a moment to hear what they have to say.

If nothing comes immediately,

That's okay.

Listen deeply.

While I stay quiet.

If your inner child feels comfortable,

Imagine them coming closer to you.

Maybe curling up in your arms.

Or holding your hand.

Feel the warmth of this connection.

If they prefer to keep a little space,

That's okay too.

Just let them know you are there.

Offering them all the love and support they need.

You might say,

The struggle is over.

You don't have to fight to be heard or understood anymore.

I am here.

And I'm ready to be the safe,

Loving presence you've always needed.

Feel this moment of connection.

Of peace.

And let it fill you both with warmth and calmness.

Spend a few more moments with your beautiful inner child.

Holding them.

Or simply being present with them.

Let them know that they are never alone.

They are deeply loved.

You are ready to be there for them.

Now.

And always.

Now,

Gently let go of your inner child.

From your mind's eye.

And bring your awareness back to the space you are in.

Feel the ground beneath you.

The air around you.

And the gentle rhythm of your breath.

Take a deep breath in.

And slowly exhale.

As you come back.

You might want to jot down any thoughts.

Feelings.

Or messages.

That came through you.

During this meditation.

Just take your time.

And when you feel ready.

Slowly open your eyes.

From my heart.

To yours.

With all my love.

And gratitude.

Namaste.
