Welcome and thank you for taking the time to be calm and in peace.
Start by getting comfortable and focusing on your breath.
Breathe in very slowly and then breathe out.
Continue breathing calmly and evenly.
This will get your body very relaxed and feeling good.
As you breathe in,
Feel your belly inflating like a balloon.
And imagine that the air going down into your belly has a color.
I wonder what color would that be?
And when you exhale,
Feel how your belly gets smaller and smaller until it gets flat.
Isn't breathing magical?
It's always with you and could help you every time you feel stressed,
Upset or a little nervous.
It's your friend that signals your body that everything is okay,
No matter what is going on around you.
Wouldn't it be great if every morning before school,
Focusing on your breathing while you imagine having a really wonderful day?
Taking a moment to imagine yourself listening while in class,
Learning new interesting things,
Having fun with friends and remembering everything you learn.
Everything becomes so easy and fun.
When you take time to imagine that a wonderful day is ahead of you and set a happy intention for your day,
Saying,
Today is a beautiful day,
I will have so much fun,
Your day might end up being a wonderful one.
If you intend for great things to happen,
They almost always do.
And that's called a positive attitude.
It's fun and makes life so interesting and exciting.
Remember positive things happen to positive people because they look for the good in everything and everyone.
And take this warm feeling with you wherever you go today.
If at some point you start feeling stressed,
Try the big belly breathing again a few times,
Imagining the air you breathe in a beautiful vibrant color and see how much better you feel instantly.
My suggestion to you is doing this meditation every day before school.
Take a deep breath now and when you're ready,
Open your eyes,
Stretch your body and know how amazing each day at school and at home is going to be.
