Hello and welcome to Intuition Awakening.
My name is Janine and today I am wrapping up my Inner Child Healing series.
This is part six.
So as always,
Finding a comfortable seated position as we begin.
If lying down is preferred for your body right now,
That is totally fine as well.
Finding a comfortable position,
Taking as much time as you need now,
Pausing the audio if you need to get comfortable.
Perhaps having some pillows to support your back,
Your neck,
Or under your knees.
Just taking any time now to settle in for this meditation.
When you are ready,
Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling out the mouth.
Gently closing your eyes.
You start to feel your body becoming heavier on the surface beneath you.
And then you start to feel your body on the surface beneath you,
Feeling where your clothing is making contact,
Feeling your breathing becoming slow and deep.
Allow yourself one more big inhale in through the nose and out through the nose and out through the mouth.
Once again,
Feeling your body sinking,
Feeling rested and calm.
As you start to use your mind's eye,
Your third eye chakra,
Activating this center for visualization and imagining yourself once again on the familiar city sidewalk.
You can feel your feet on the warm cement,
A summer sunshine beaming down through the trees,
Feeling a wind moving through the branches,
Moving across your clothing,
Across your skin.
As you start to take the familiar steps back down the sidewalk,
Noticing the park to your left,
Stepping onto the grass,
Making your way to the familiar playground space that has become your private sanctuary with your inner child.
As you near the playground,
You can hear once again the children's laughter,
But this time as you near the park,
Your inner child rushes to meet you,
Perhaps even giving you a large hug,
Wanting to shake your hand,
Perhaps just walk side by side with you as they lead you to a space under a tall oak tree,
Cool and shaded out from the sun.
A smile warms your face as you recognize this relationship you have built with your inner child truly is progressing and has come such a long way.
When you have started working with your inner child,
Maybe they didn't even want to acknowledge you.
Maybe they were shy or afraid of an adult,
But now you know you have built these foundations with them,
Have built some trust,
And they look forward to communicating with you now.
With that smile still on your face,
You look down at your inner child as you're seated beneath this oak tree,
And you ask them,
Why did you rush to meet me today?
You give them some time now to reply,
Listening to their response.
You can thank your inner child for their honesty,
For their acceptance and enthusiasm to have you in their life,
And you can spend a few minutes now sharing how thankful you are for their presence in your life.
It's really important to let our inner child know that we value them,
We love their opinions,
Their smile,
Their laughter,
Their tears,
Their sadnesses.
All aspects of our inner child are now being loved and accepted and validated.
So spend a few minutes now communicating everything you wish to to your inner child as I let the music play.
You're welcome to pause the audio if need be to spend as much time with your inner child as you'd like.
Maybe they have some messages or words of thanks for you as well.
So don't be shy to pause the audio or continue with me now as our inner child moves closer,
Perhaps embraces us,
And we can feel their heart beating so strongly,
So happily beside us.
You can tell what a difference you have made in this relationship with your inner child.
You may feel some more pride or joy,
A calmness,
A gratitude,
Whatever emotion comes to mind.
Just sit with that feeling for the next few moments.
Thank yourself for going on this journey,
For cultivating this relationship.
Let today's practice be about gratitude for yourself,
For your inner child,
For this beautiful park space that honors and holds you together,
Knowing that at any time in the future,
You can come back to this now sacred space,
This familiar path for both of you to reconnect,
To communicate,
To be a part of one another's lives on a day-to-day basis.
Inner child healing does not end here in this park.
Feel free to imagine your inner child joining you as you walk around your city or your home.
Imagine them on the car ride to work,
When you're sitting in the dentist office or any other mundane task in your life that could use a little joy to make your life a little bit more peaceful.
That could use a little joy,
A little connection,
And a special pause to be grateful for these relationships you have built.
Whenever you and your inner child are ready,
You stand together,
Holding hands,
And you leave the park space together this time.
Feeling your inner child walking beside you,
The way their hand fits inside of yours.
Coming back to that familiar city sidewalk and starting to come back to awareness in the body.
Still gently feeling your inner child's hand in yours.
You can start to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Perhaps gently rolling your shoulders.
Taking one deep inhale,
Gently looking down one more time at your inner child with a smile on your face,
Welcoming them to join you in your daily life from now on.
When you are ready,
Open your eyes,
Place your hands on your chest above your heart.
Spend a moment here in gratitude and appreciation for all the effort you've put into these meditations and the effort you have placed into your inner child healing experience.
I am so proud of what you have been able to accomplish with your inner child.
They are so happy you made the choice to reconnect.
