Grateful you are here.
All that you are.
I first invite you to check in with your body and your physical space.
Lean into comfort.
You might adjust your seated position,
Your resting position.
You might invite slow,
Unhurried movement.
You might invite a couple minutes of light,
Gentle stretching.
Stretching your neck,
Rolling your shoulders,
Massaging your toes.
And so I invite you to pause this invitation for a couple minutes to honor your body and to adjust your physical space to lean in to a little more comfort.
I now invite you to move into a long,
Spacious,
Gentle,
Deep breath.
Deeply in,
Inviting nourishment to move through your heart and your lungs and your body.
Deeply in and slowly out.
I invite you to take another long,
Spacious,
Deep breath,
Inviting nourishment and life and aliveness into your inhale.
Deeply in and slowly out.
I invite you to take another deep breath and this time I invite you to go a little bit deeper,
Opening the branches of your lungs,
Inviting more nourishment to move blood to reach the edges of your elbows,
The edges of your knees,
The edges of your toes.
And so a deep,
Spacious in-breath and then a slow,
Unhurried out-breath.
Deeply in,
Slowly out.
Let's do another one of those.
I invite you to go even a little deeper,
Stretching and stretching the branches of our lungs,
Honoring our breath and our aliveness with our in-breath.
Deeply in,
Spaciously in and then slowly release.
Deeply in,
Slowly out.
And this time I invite you to return again to another deep,
Spacious in-breath and I invite you to reach out your exhale.
Similar to the branches being stretched with our in-breath,
We also invite our branches in our lungs,
Our branches in our energy and in our body to reach out like the branches of trees into the sky with our exhale.
And so really invite a spacious in-breath and then with our out-breath,
Allow it to be extra unhurried,
Extra unhurried,
Reaching and reaching and expanding and expanding like branches of trees into the sky.
Deeply in.
Let's do that again.
Another spacious deep in-breath and an extra unhurried out-breath,
Expanding and expanding.
Deeply in.
I invite you to rest with your breath,
With your body,
With your story,
With all the spoken things and unspoken things moving on the inside just for a minute.
So we rest,
We breathe,
We exist,
We are worthy because we are alive,
Because we exist,
Because we breathe.
Return to a deep breath,
Deeply in.
I invite you to continue stretching out time and breath and presence as long as you are able,
Continuing to breathe deeply with worthiness and compassion.
Spacious in-breaths,
Expansive out-breaths.
