A grounding and exploratory movement/walking meditation. This practice invites deep breathing and a soulful mantra/invitation, 'I have what it takes' to accompany and inspire your movement. This can be done anywhere; however, it is highly recommended to be outdoors. Recorded live at a park and contains ambient sounds

Peace and greetings and welcome wherever this meets you,

However this meets you.

This is going to be a simple,

Grounding,

Moving meditation invitation.

It is being recorded in a public park.

So you will hear the sounds of airplanes and traffic and people and life,

Created life all around you.

So I invite you to just welcome and honor the sounds that surround you wherever you are.

If you are not yet outside in a place where you can be moving,

Whether that's by foot or on a wheelchair,

I invite you to pause and make your way.

So why don't we start,

If we can,

As many of these moving meditations under or near a tree.

And if there isn't a tree near you,

Just be mindful of the sun and or the breeze or the clouds in the sky as witnesses to your movement,

To your breathing.

And so let's together take a couple really deep breaths,

Breathing in all the way,

Slowly out.

Breathe in a little deeper all the way in,

Slowly out.

Breathe deeply in,

Imagining and inviting your veins to expand,

Your neuro pathways to expand,

Thoughts,

Dreams,

Emotions,

Space,

Just inviting all of these things to expand in our breathing,

Breathing that all the way in and slowly out.

As we breathe out,

We breathe out openness and expansion,

Connection.

If the deep breathing is serving you,

Please pause this and continue doing a handful,

A handful of more deep breaths,

Going even deeper,

Honoring our blood and our veins.

So I invite you now to slowly move,

Be extra mindful to be unhurried,

Patient,

Attentive.

Notice and honor the way your feet roll on the ground or the way the wind and the breeze hit your skin if you're moving on a wheelchair.

Just be in movement.

Try to release stacking thoughts and tasks.

Just release them as you move,

As your arms swing,

That we're not necessarily getting rid of them.

We're not trying to fix them.

We're just releasing them.

We're releasing weight.

We're releasing stuckness.

Just continue coming back to your breathing as you move.

Notice it,

Be grateful for it.

And so for the next couple minutes,

We're going to slowly invite and honor a simple and not so simple mantra,

Invitation,

Way of being,

Way of feeling.

So as you move wherever you are,

As you are,

Just invite you to allow this frame to move with you,

To move through you,

To nurture specific thoughts or emotions,

To find its way into your heart.

Imagine it moving with your blood through your legs and your feet and your arms and shoulders and neck.

And that this isn't about solving anything.

This isn't about arriving anywhere.

It's just being and moving with this invitation.

And so I'm going to repeat this mantra,

This invitation,

This frame several times with space and pauses in between.

I have what it takes.

I have what it takes.

I have what it takes.

Honoring our movement,

Our bodies,

Our breathing.

I have what it takes.

I have what it takes.

I have what it takes.

If it's easy and comfortable to pause,

Take a really deep breath all the way in with this mantra and invitation,

Breathing it into your body,

Not into a new place of stuckness,

But just flow and movement through it.

I have what it takes,

Breathing that in and letting it flow out into the world.

I have what it takes.

Another deep breath in.

I have what it takes.

And a slow,

Grounded,

Soulful,

Open,

Humble,

Tender,

Self-compassionate.

I have what it takes as we breathe out and as we move in the world.

I have what it takes.

So I invite you to continue your movement,

To continue slowly and softly and boldly and lovingly speak this invitation out loud,

Speak it in your breathing,

Speak it internally,

Move with it,

Honor it.

I have what it takes.

Take one more collective deep breath together with the trees and the world and the sky and the soil together all the way in.

Slowly out all the way in.

Slowly out.

Peace to each of you.

We have what it takes.
