Welcome.

This is a meditation on celebrating your triumphs and understanding that your life is a success.

So let's begin.

So let's begin by finding a comfortable position for your body that you can be in for the next several minutes.

So whether that's supported in a chair with your feet on the ground,

Or maybe laying down,

Finding a position where you feel supported in all the ways that you need all the ways that are necessary.

And then once you find a good position,

Let's take deep three deep breaths together.

So inhaling through the nose,

And then exhaling through the nose or the mouth.

So as you inhale,

Allowing your whole entire being to fill up with breath.

And then as you exhale,

Feeling a sense of softening and releasing.

So inhaling deeply,

You might even hold at the top of the inhale for a moment.

And then allowing the breath to just leave the body.

And then take note of how your breath is feeling.

So not judging it,

Not critiquing it in any way,

But noting if it feels spacious,

If it feels constricted,

How the body is feeling after taking three deliberate intentional breaths together.

And then begin to move your attention and awareness,

Perhaps from the thinking mind into the body.

So taking note on how your body is feeling at this present time.

Are there any parts that might feel cranky or tight?

Maybe there are many spaces in the body that feel open and receptive,

Easeful.

Maybe you're feeling tired or energized.

Simply taking note.

And once again,

We're not judging or critiquing or criticizing.

We're simply giving ourselves an opportunity to drop down into the body.

Just seeing what's here.

What's present.

And then if it feels good,

Imagining breathing into the parts that would appreciate just a little more attention,

A little more care.

So imagining that you could bring the breath to parts that might feel a little cranky or a little constricted.

And then when you're ready,

In your mind's eye,

In your imagination,

See if you can bring the time line of your life to the forefront.

So all the way back to when you were born and all the way up to the present time.

And for many of us,

This may feel challenging.

Or overwhelming.

As we recall.

Part of our past.

So just knowing that at any time,

If bringing the timeline of your life to the forefront of your mind feels difficult,

Know that you can always let go of the memories and bring the focus back to your breath.

But if you are ready,

Imagine yourself.

Right at the beginning of your timeline as a tiny newborn baby.

Maybe even holding yourself as a newborn.

Looking into your own small little face.

Noticing and looking at your eyes.

Your eyes looking back at you.

And in those eyes of your youngest self,

Can you sense the power and the beauty of your spirit?

That you came into this life with.

That spirit that was unencumbered.

Open.

Receptive.

Full of possibility.

And you should sense that younger version of yourself.

Allow yourself to be reminded of that spirit that resides in you.

And then possibly taking a few moments to share with that youngest version of yourself all the ways in which you have triumphed.

The ways in which you learn to love and to care not only for others,

But also for yourself.

All of yourself.

The way that you learned to care for this little version of you and all the other versions of you,

Allowing all of you to belong.

Tell this little one all the amazing things that they are going to do and be and experience that you have already done.

And as you do see the spirit of that littlest you grow brighter.

Feeling your own spirit and heart grow ever brighter and more spacious.

Take a moment to notice what you are feeling.

All feelings are valid.

All feelings are welcomed.

Give yourself permission to feel what you feel.

And as you continue to hold your younger self,

Imagine wrapping them up in protection and warmth and love.

Knowing and understanding that you can't go back and alter the past,

But you can go back and retrieve yourself from it.

Letting this tiny version of yourself know that you are here to take care of them.

And that all of that brightness that you were born with is being made manifest.

It's being made real in the world through you now.

And that is great success.

The fact that you were born and the miracle of this life through all that you have overcome,

All that you've been able to love and hold,

All the ways you have been able to show up in the world.

All the ways that you've been able to reroute and reroute and witness more than just what hurts.

This is a life well lived.

And you have every reason to feel celebratory,

To feel that you matter in all the ways that matter most to you.

And that you are a success for just simply being you.

And when you're ready,

Spring your attention back to the breath.

You'll be taking a deep inhale.

And then a full exhale.

Gently fluttering open the eyes.

Looking around the space that you're in to reorient yourself.

It feels good.

Taking whatever movements that you might need.

And extending a little gratitude to yourself for showing up in this way,

For showing up for your life.

And then you can have a beautiful rest of your day.

You.

You.
