Today we're going to do a guided meditation on the truest,
Most beautiful day of your life.
We'll be going through a visual experience through our meditation of a day in the life of your most truest,
Most beautiful life you can dream up.
There are no limits.
This is your creativity.
This is your imagination.
This is your truth.
There's nothing that is impossible.
Shoot for the stars.
Realize every detail of what is true for you,
Regardless of what is currently happening.
And think of what is most beautiful to you.
This is your vision.
Ditch the judgments,
The old patterns,
The habits,
The beliefs.
Here in these moments,
See a life that is true for you.
A life that is beautiful to you.
Not what mom and dad said.
Not what your friends.
Not what the media.
Not what whoever said this is your most beautiful life.
I want to share with you a quote that inspired this entire meditation a whole year ago,
But it's still such an awesome meditation to do.
And I'm still so inspired by this quote.
The quote is from Glennon Doyle from the book Untamed,
And it says,
Let's conjure up from the depths of our souls the truest,
Most beautiful lives we can imagine.
So let's do it.
This is your time.
So go ahead and settle into your space,
Making sure that you're comfortable,
That you feel like your body is supported.
You can be in a seated position.
You can lay down.
You can be seated in a chair.
Again,
This is your practice.
Wherever you are,
Just make sure that your hands are light and effortlessly placed in your lap or at your sides.
No pressure,
No judgment in this meditation.
You're going to just take a quick journey into your creativity,
Into your truths,
And see what is beautiful for you.
So go ahead and just take a nice deep centering breath in and exhale.
And if you haven't already,
Go ahead and close your eyes and just allow yourself to adjust into your space.
Feel free to roll the shoulders a few times.
Maybe move the head side to side as you just get your body into the right spot.
Sometimes this is the hardest thing is deciding to carve out time for ourselves where we're going to be still,
Where we're going to park our expectations.
We're going to park all of our judgments.
We're also going to let go of anything that has happened to us up until this point today.
We're going to allow ourselves to drop into this moment.
We're going to ask our minds,
Our hearts,
Our bodies to be here now,
To be in this present moment and trust that we know how to do that.
Go ahead and connect with your breath.
Begin to feel the rhythm of your breath coming in through the body and as it leaves the body.
And noticing this rhythm,
There's this natural rhythm that we can connect to,
That we can sync to when we bring our focus and attention there.
So just begin to notice,
Become present and just seeing the breath as a really good friend,
Somebody you haven't connected with in a long time.
Just sending some gratitude and love for the breath,
Moving in through the body,
All the nourishment it does and seeing it leave the body.
And here in this moment,
Go ahead and release your attention on the breath and begin to bring your attention to your body.
Let's just take a quick check in.
How is your body feeling?
Is it heavy,
Tense,
Light,
Airy,
Free?
Let's begin at the top of our head,
At the crown of our head,
Bring our attention there.
Bring your awareness to your forehead,
Smooth the forehead,
Soften.
Let go of all the judgment,
Put down your worries.
Release the space between your eyebrows.
Move your awareness down to your cheeks,
To your jaw.
See if you can unhinge,
Unclench the jaw.
Begin to bring your awareness to your throat.
Just send some love and gratitude to your voice,
For the power that lives within your voice,
For the change you can make,
For the love you can share,
The gratitude you can share.
Move your awareness down to your shoulders,
Into your chest.
Just notice how are you feeling in this area of your body.
Seeing if you can lighten the load a little bit,
Release,
Let go.
Allow yourself to come deeper into this meditation practice.
Notice your arms,
Your hands,
Your fingers.
Just allow your arms to be heavy.
They've done their job today,
Let them just have a moment.
Bring your awareness to your chest,
To your heart,
Sending some gratitude to your heart.
Starting to notice the heartbeat,
These rhythms that live within us.
Move your awareness to your abdomen,
To your belly.
See if you can release here,
Unclench,
Release some of the attention.
And move your awareness down through the body,
Through the hips,
Into the legs,
Knees,
Calves,
Shins,
Tops of the feet,
The soles of your feet,
To your toes.
Just allowing your legs to be heavy,
All your feet to be free.
They've done their work today.
And now in this moment,
Just bring your awareness back to the whole body together.
To your whole body together,
Working in harmony,
Perhaps feeling a little bit lighter,
A little bit freer,
A little bit more in the moment,
Allowing yourself to be in your body.
Go ahead and take a nice deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Allow yourself just to sink a little bit deeper into the meditation.
Being right here in the moment,
Everything is as it should be.
You are perfectly aligned.
And in this moment,
I invite you to imagine as if you're waking up to the truest,
Most beautiful life.
It's the morning,
Exactly the way you would want it to be.
It's true for you.
It's beautiful for you.
You begin to become aware of the bed you're in.
We are slowly stretching out the arms and you begin to look around.
Where are you?
What does the room look like?
What can you hear?
What does this place make you feel?
How does your body feel in this bed?
Is there anyone next to you?
Begin to allow yourself to take in all the details of this room,
Of this space,
Of waking up to the truest,
Most beautiful life.
Take in all the details.
As you begin to sit up and your feet hit the floor,
Notice how you feel within on this day.
What are you getting ready to do?
What are you preparing for your morning routine?
Begin to see the details of how your day begins when your feet hit the floor.
Allow yourself to see every detail.
Wherever this morning is taking you,
Allow yourself to pass by a mirror.
As you see your reflection in this mirror,
What do you see?
What type of thoughts do you have when you look at yourself on the truest,
Most beautiful day?
As you begin to wrap up your morning routine and begin to prepare for how this day is going to go,
What type of things are you preparing to do?
What type of work are you going to do?
Are you working at all?
What does the most perfect,
Most enjoyable activity look like in your day?
Begin to put yourself into that environment.
What type of people are you surrounded by?
What type of things are you talking about?
How does this activity make you feel?
Begin to take in all the details of your day,
Allowing yourself to dream up the truest,
Most beautiful day.
Wherever this day has taken you,
Allow yourself to begin to wrap up those daily activities.
Begin to guide yourself into the evening time.
What does your evening begin to look like?
What are you preparing to do?
Begin to see who is with you in the evening.
What are you talking about?
How do you feel at the end of this day?
What kind of emotions arise for you at the end of the day?
How does your body feel?
How do you perceive yourself?
And now it's time to wrap up this day,
This most beautiful day.
And as you walk back into the room in which you woke up,
Begin to notice how you feel as you're beginning to rest your body.
What does the process of rest look like for you?
What is your evening routine?
Begin to see all the details of your evening routine of rest,
Of what it's like to head to bed.
Are you talking to somebody?
Are you tucking in your children?
Are you reading a book?
What would bring you the most joy at the end of the day,
The most ease,
Most gratitude?
Begin to see those details of this beautiful evening.
As you begin to lay down in that bed that you woke up in,
Notice what you're thinking as you're beginning to close your eyes in that bed.
Notice how your body feels.
Notice what you're wearing.
What you accomplished or didn't accomplish.
Notice how your heart feels.
Notice who is with you.
Notice what's around you.
Notice what you can hear.
Notice the space.
And then just simply close your eyes in the beautiful day,
Beautiful evening.
Take a deep breath in and exhale and release that vision,
Your imagination,
Your creativity.
And allow yourself just to become aware of your body,
The body and the contact between the body and the floor,
The body and the chair.
Simply wiggle your fingers or wiggle your toes.
You can gently move the head side to side or roll your shoulders and begin to take those nice full or deep breaths as you're coming back into this moment,
Back into this body.
And knowing that everything was perfect.
There's no judgment.
There's infinite possibilities when it comes to creativity.
When you're ready,
Feel free to bring your hands together in a prayer position where you can rest your hands on your heart.
Just know that everything is okay.
And as you just take a few deep breaths in and a few deep breaths out,
Just send some gratitude,
Some love to yourself,
Some kindness to yourself and to those around us,
Letting kindness in,
Letting kindness out.
You're doing a good job.
We'll go ahead and close out our meditation practice.
Again,
With our hands in our hearts or in a prayer position.
Thank you so much for allowing me to guide you in this meditation practice.
Thank you for being here and carving out time for yourself.
Thank you to all the meditation teachers who have come before me and for those who will come next.
It's an honor to sit with you.
Thank you so much.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
Feel free to open your eyes.
Feel free to stretch or move around.
Take some deep breaths.
I just have a few recommendations as you are coming out of your meditation practice.
Probably feeling pretty good,
Very relaxed.
All of those things are so great and definitely savor those moments.
It's a lot of nourishment for your body,
For your mind,
For your heart.
And when it feels good for you,
I just offer a suggestion to write down some of the things that you saw,
Some of those things that you were experiencing in this truest,
Most beautiful life.
And no matter how big they were or maybe how extravagant they might feel,
They're worth something to you.
And so don't forget them,
Right?
Don't just brush them off as an experience and that they could never come true because really creativity is unlimited.
There are unlimited possibilities.
So yeah,
I recommend writing it down.
And then I also recommend or suggest that anytime there's something you can do now,
Gift yourself that.
So I probably won't win the lottery today.
And so some of maybe the possessions I might see in my truest,
Most beautiful life might not be something I could just have delivered by Amazon tomorrow.
But if I saw that I was wearing these silky pajamas or I had on my bed,
It was everything was white.
Just some examples for you.
I know I could probably get some silk pajamas or I could get all white sheets and pillowcases and stuff like that.
And those are just examples from other meditations I've led and people who have shared their experience saying like,
Oh,
I could totally do those things now.
So I offer that as a suggestion to you that even though you might have visualized yourself somewhere that feels far away,
There are things that we can totally bring into our life.
Maybe you saw yourself talking to a friend that you haven't talked to in a while or saw yourself writing a book.
You know,
You can begin those things today.
So I offer you that suggestion and I hope this was a fun experience for you and that if anything else,
It brought you some peace,
Some moments of just silence,
Some time away from judgment and thoughts and figuring everything out just to be still with your own heart.
So again,
I thank you so much for being here.

Beautifully led, calming meditation. Lovely, reassuring voice. It was liberating to take some time for a little creative escapism. Letting the imagination play. To experience for a few moments deep happiness and feeling true to my beliefs, dreams and spiritual purpose. The only problem was I didn't want to leave :)
