Your treehouse is a calm and happy place, created just the way you want it and it is full of everything that brings you joy. This guided meditation is a great tool for reconnecting children to the abundance in their lives. Build it into your bedtime routine for a peaceful night's rest. It is also particularly useful during times of stress or worry.

Welcome to your Treehouse Meditation.

Find a comfortable position.

You may lie on your back or be seated.

If you're seated,

You can either sit with your legs crossed in easy pose,

Or you can sit on your feet in kneeling pose.

You can sit on a cushion or have one behind you if that helps you feel comfortable.

Keep your back nice and straight and place your hands facing upwards,

Ready to receive all the energy around you.

Gently close down your eyes as you start to settle into your meditation.

Take a full breath in through your nose and a long breath out.

Another full breath in and a long breath out.

Notice how with each breath your body is relaxing and becoming still.

Can you notice where in your body you feel your breath?

Is it under your nose?

Can you notice where in your body you feel your breath?

Can you notice where in your body you feel your breath?

Is it under your nose?

Maybe it's in your chest,

Perhaps your belly.

Notice where you feel your breath come in and out of your body.

As you take each breath,

Your body feels more and more relaxed as we let go of the day that we've had and just simply be in this moment.

Let's relax all of your body,

One part at a time,

Starting with your face.

Scrunch your face up as tight as you can and let it go.

Hunch your shoulders up to your ears and let them go.

Curl your hands up into tight balls,

Feel all the muscles in your arms switch on,

And then let it go.

Curl up your toes,

Feel all the muscles in your legs switch on super tight,

And then let it go.

Feel your belly relax,

Your back relax,

Your whole body is still and relaxed.

I'd like you to imagine a narrow path,

With trees either side.
