Find a comfortable position,
Whether you are seated,
Lying down,
Or even gently reclining.
Take your time to support yourself in any way that you need to.
Allow yourself to get nice and cozy,
And then if it feels good,
Just allow your eyes to either soften down or close,
And take a moment to notice the space around you,
The air on your skin,
The surface beneath you,
Fully supporting your body.
This is a time just for you.
There's nowhere else that you need to be.
There's nothing else that you need to do.
So,
Offer yourself a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
And a slow,
Gentle breath back out.
And again,
Breathing in,
Allowing your body to expand,
And exhaling,
Softening just a little more.
As you continue to breathe slowly and mindfully,
Just begin to notice if there's any tension in your jaw,
Your shoulders,
Or your belly.
See if you can release even 1% of it,
Not forcing,
Just a gentle invitation to relax.
With each breath,
Allowing yourself to settle more deeply into this space.
This is your moment to rest,
To receive,
To simply be.
This breath,
This breath right here,
This breath is nourishing you with love from the inside out.
Now I invite you to bring to mind a younger version of yourself.
Maybe they're a child,
Or a teenager,
Or simply a past version of you who needed more love.
See that younger version of yourself right in front of you,
Looking at you with those soft,
Hopeful eyes.
They're not judging you,
They're not asking for you to be different,
They simply want to be held.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you breathe out,
Imagine wrapping this younger version of yourself in the warmest,
Most loving embrace.
Hold them gently,
Feel their arms wrapped around you,
Trusting,
Receiving.
Let them know they're safe,
Let them know they're enough.
Let them know they've always been enough.
And as you hold this past version of yourself,
Feel it begin to soften into you,
Like a gentle wave dissolving back into the ocean.
They're not separate from you,
They are you.
Let the love,
The innocence,
The wholeness of this younger version of yourself merge into your heart.
Not lost,
Not gone,
Living within you,
Always.
And now,
As this past version of you settles deep into your heart,
Envision a warm,
Golden light beginning to glow from within you.
This is a radiance light,
Steady light of love,
Of safety,
Of deep belonging.
With every breath you take,
This light grows stronger,
Filling every part of you.
Feel this warm,
Golden light surrounding you like the gentlest embrace from the universe itself.
You are held,
You are seen.
You are so incredibly loved,
Exactly as you are.
Letting yourself rest in this warmth,
Allow yourself to receive.
You don't have to do anything to be worthy of love.
You are already worthy.
You always have been,
And you always will be.
You are safe,
You are enough,
You have always been enough,
And you always will be.
Now I invite you to rest in this warmth for a few quiet moments.
There's nothing to do,
Nothing to change,
Just be.
If your mind feels busy,
That's okay.
Allow each thought to drift by like a cloud in the sky.
If it feels helpful,
You can silently repeat a mantra with your breath.
I am enough on the inhale.
I am loved on the exhale.
Inhale,
I am enough.
Exhale,
I am loved.
Or perhaps you'll simply sit,
Letting the stillness wrap around you like a warm embrace.
And just know that whatever comes up in this quiet space,
Whether it's stillness or thoughts or emotions,
Whatever arises is welcome here.
There's no right,
There's no wrong way to experience this moment.
I'll hold the time for you.
All you need to do is allow yourself to receive.
And now gently bringing awareness back to the breath,
Back to the body,
And just allowing this feeling of warmth to stay with you as you begin to return to the present moment.
Offer yourself a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And just gently satiate out.
You might begin to gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
And when you're ready,
Placing one hand over your heart,
Feeling the warmth of your own touch,
Know that this love is yours always.
You are worthy of your own care.
You are worthy of your own kindness.
You are already enough.
And as you move through the rest of your day,
I invite you to carry this love with you,
Not just in moments of stillness,
But in the way you speak to yourself,
In the way that you move,
In the way that you allow yourself to simply be.
Because you,
Exactly as you are,
Are so deeply,
Beautifully loved.
Take one more long,
Slow,
Deep,
Nourishing breath all the way in.
Gently let it go.
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
