This full moon,

Yoga Nidra,

Will be a journey of sight.

You will be awakening the eyes of your soul and begin to turn your awareness inward to see the beauty of your authentic self.

The beauty of the full moon is revealed when the light of the sun shines upon the phase of the moon.

This energy shines the light on the full embodiment of our soul.

This alignment of the sun,

The earth and the moon.

This combined energy really gives us the space to let go of our limited beliefs,

Our limited personalities that we may have taken on in this lifetime.

And it gives us the opportunity to embrace the fullness,

The shining light and the magnificent energy of our soul.

Take your way into a comfortable lying position on your back.

Maybe place a bolster or a pillow underneath your knees.

Separating the legs a little bit more than hip width apart.

Arms alongside your body but they can be a little bit wider from your body as well.

Palms facing upwards and the fingers are just naturally curled in.

So in this position you're already in a releasing,

Yielding,

Letting go position.

If you have an eye pillow at home,

It can be really nice and soothing to put something over your eyelids.

Now let your head rest heavy on the earth,

On the ground beneath you.

Maybe feel the connection.

Really begin to bring your awareness to your breathing.

Lengthen in the inhales and the exhales.

Really lengthening and deepening your breath.

Inhaling the air,

Just effortlessly and gentle and soft.

Exhaling releasing the air.

Feel your belly rise on each inhalation.

Feel your belly lower on each exhalation.

Begin to feel the connection between your body and your breath.

Really let it anchor your mind.

As you're inhaling,

The belly rises,

The lungs expand.

Exhaling,

Feeling the belly fall and the lungs soften.

Feel your breath and let go of your thoughts.

Lengthen your breath and let go of your thoughts.

Exhale,

Feel your body rise on each exhalation.

Feel your body fall and let go of your thoughts.

As you're inhaling,

Feel your body fall and let go of your thoughts.

It is a short statement in the present tense.

You can think of it like a little seed that you plant in the fertile soil to later than harvest.

Look deep into your heart.

What's your heart's desire?

Sankalpa could be something like,

I am illuminating all subconscious thoughts where I am letting go.

Now repeat your sankalpa three times in your mind.

Now gently shift and bring all of your awareness into your physical body.

As I call out each name of each body part,

Feel all thoughts and physical tension just fall away.

All tension falling away with ease.

Visualize a glowing bright light in your right hand thumb.

Moving to your second finger,

The glowing light tracing your third finger,

Fourth finger,

Fifth finger,

The light tracing the palm of your hand.

Moving to the back of your hand,

Right wrist,

Right forearm,

Elbow,

Upper arm,

Shoulder,

Arm pit,

Waist,

Right hip,

Right thigh,

Knee,

Calf,

Ankle,

Your right heel,

Sole of the foot,

Top of the foot.

Bring the bright light down to your right big toe tracing over to your second toe,

Your third toe,

Fourth toe,

And your fifth toe.

Bringing the bright light all the way over to your left hand thumb,

Your second finger,

Third finger,

Fourth finger,

Fifth finger.

Moving to the palm of your hand,

Back of the hand,

Wrist,

Your left forearm,

Elbow,

Upper arm,

Your shoulder,

Bringing the light down to the armpit,

Waist,

Hip,

Thigh,

Knee,

Calf,

Ankle,

Heel,

Left sole of the foot,

Top of the foot.

Bringing the light down to your left big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

Fifth toe.

Move your awareness to the back of your body,

Your right heel,

Left heel,

Right calf,

Left calf,

Right thigh,

Left thigh,

Right buttock,

Left buttock,

Your lower back,

Middle back,

Upper back,

Your entire spine,

Your right shoulder blade,

Your left shoulder blade,

Back of the neck,

Back of the head,

Moving your awareness to the top of your head,

Your forehead,

Your right temple,

Left temple,

Your right ear,

Feel the inside of your right ear,

Your earlobe,

Left ear,

Feel the inside of your left ear,

Your left earlobe,

Right eyebrow,

Left eyebrow,

The space in between your eyebrows,

Your third eye,

Your right eye,

And left eye,

Your right nostril,

Left nostril,

Top of the nose,

Feel your right cheek,

And your left cheek,

Your upper lip,

And your lower lip,

Feel both lips together,

Feel your mouth,

Feel the inside of your mouth,

Moving down to the chin,

Your jaw,

Your throat,

Your right collarbone,

Left collarbone,

Right side of the chest,

Left side of the chest,

Your upper abdomen,

Your navel,

Your lower abdomen,

Your right groin,

And your left groin,

Your pelvic floor.

Now bring your awareness to your heart center,

Noticing any sensation around this vulnerable space,

And from there,

Begin to weave a golden thread to your third eye,

The space in between your eyebrows,

And from there,

Weave the thread back to your heart center,

Creating a strong web of connection.

From your heart center,

Weave the golden thread to your right hand,

And back to your heart,

From the heart to your right arm,

And back to your heart,

From your heart to your right foot,

And back to your heart,

From your right leg,

Back to the heart,

Connecting the golden thread from your heart center to your left hand and back to the heart,

From the heart to your left arm,

And back to the heart,

From the heart to your left foot,

And back to the heart,

From the heart to your left leg,

And Feeling the connection between your body parts,

Your heart sensor and your third eye chakra.

Feeling the intensity of this bond.

Feeling the connection that you always have within your body,

Your physical and emotional body.

Feeling your body,

Your whole body connected as one by this illuminating golden thread.

All tension falling away and fading away.

Fully at peace.

Fully at ease.

Feel your entire body released and relaxed.

All of the weight and tension falling away.

Feel the neck and feel the head fully relaxed,

Released and at peace.

Feel your entire body relaxed and released.

And by the beautiful light of your awareness shining on your entire body.

Transmuting any leftover tension built from thoughts but do not align with your soul.

Feel your entire body relaxed and completely open and free.

Now bring your awareness back to your third eye,

The space in between your eyebrows.

Gently letting the eyeballs roll back and up.

Bringing a soft gaze upwards from the inside to your third eye.

The place of intuition,

Of deep knowing and deep healing.

Feel yourself and allow yourself to relax into a deep state of oneness.

State of oneness that feels,

Sees and knows all.

Feel the complete awakening of your inner sight.

Feel yourself beyond the energy that is not your true authentic self.

As you allow yourself to be one with the energy,

With the earth,

The sun and the moon.

Feel all energy that is not in alignment with you fall away.

Feel all energy that isn't your authentic self fall away.

Become aware of the illuminating energy of your awareness.

Seeing through the eyes of your soul.

All is available.

All can be revealed.

See and feel yourself floating in front of the illuminating face of the moon.

Feel her energy.

She's powerful.

She's gentle.

Her energy is cleansing and calming.

See the illuminating surface as a mirror.

Allow the surface to reflect your authentic power.

As you're floating in front of the face of the moon.

Allow a truthful image to come forth that tells a story of your infinite authentic power.

Allow a truthful image to come forth that tells a story of your infinite authentic power.

Feel the reflection of the sun's energy on the moon revealing to you your true and natural power.

Your truest essence.

Feel this beautiful energy filling up your spiritual,

Mental and physical body.

Feel the energies transmuting,

Transforming and healing.

Feel these energies transmuting,

Transforming and healing.

Now trust,

Trust the illuminating power of your soul.

Trust whatever messages you've received.

Trust in your authentic power.

It is time to repeat your sankalpa.

Please repeat the same statement made at the beginning of the practice three times to yourself now.

Coming back to the feeling of your breath flowing in and out of your nostrils.

Maintain your awareness of breath.

And at the same time develop your awareness of your physical body.

Really starting to arrive back into your physical body.

Arriving back into this collective space.

Your body is relaxed and is being held by the earth.

Notice the heaviness of your body as it is being held by the earth,

Pachamama.

Maybe slowly starting to bring in some organic movement.

Maybe wiggling the fingers and the toes.

The practice of yoga nidra is now complete.
