
Visualization To Shift Out Of Lack And Into Abundance

This audio-only track (no music) takes you through a visualization technique based on the NLP exercise called the Swish Pattern. In it, I walk you through three rounds of taking an existing unwanted energetic state and replacing it with an ideal future vision and its accompanying high vibrational energy. It is a powerful tool when you are feeling stuck and finding it difficult to move forward due to feelings of fear, lack, or scarcity. I hope you find it useful!

Hello and welcome.
This recording is going to be a guided visualization based on the NLP or Neuro Linguistic Programming technique called the SWISH pattern.
And the purpose of this visualization is to help you shift your energy from a space of scarcity,
Fear,
Or lack into an energetic space of abundance and hope and possibility.
Our brains are wired to look for problems,
To fear the worst,
And often it is really hard to shift out of this space of fear and scarcity and into a space where we can move forward with confidence,
With energy,
Because these emotional states of fear,
They really do drain us.
And so this track will guide you through this visualization process.
You can return to it at any time you need to shift your state,
Remembering to be kind to yourself.
Your habit is likely to fall back into scarcity,
Into worry,
Into rumination,
Because again that's how our brains are wired.
So this is no weakness or failing on your part and this track is to help you practice moving that energetic state to one in which you feel less stuck and are able to move forward.
So to begin,
Just drop into your body.
So wherever you are sitting or laying,
Listening to this,
Just take a few moments to tune into your breathing.
Allowing your belly to be soft and expanding on the inhale.
Letting whatever surface you are resting on take the full weight of your body on the exhale.
Remember that any outside noises or any worries or thoughts,
Things that you have to tend to during the day,
They'll all be here waiting for you when you are done this visualization.
But for now,
Try to just set them aside and be here.
So to start,
We're going to be visualizing two different images.
One is going to be the image of where you are today.
The energy you are in,
The place you feel stuck,
Or perhaps even the fear that keeps bubbling up for you.
And the other image is going to be of your most ideal future self.
So the first image,
And you're going to actually pretend you are picking up a picture.
So I want you to pick up a picture,
Maybe it's about the size of an 8 by 10 photo.
And this picture is in black and white,
But it is very clear.
It's crisp.
Everything in the image is easy to see.
And this is the place of fear or scarcity.
This is where you are.
And eyes open or closed,
Whatever feels easier for you.
I want you to look at this image as you hold it in your two hands and see all the details,
Everything about this current situation and energy,
Everything that you are wishing you were not feeling or fearing.
And as you look at the image,
Just notice how you feel in your body.
You might feel contracted or there might be a knot of worry in your stomach.
You might feel heavy or a sinking feeling.
Just allow that feeling to be there.
Notice it,
Not making it wrong or right as you look at this image.
And then after one more breath,
I want you to put that image aside.
And now I'd like you to pick up a new image.
And this one is in full color,
About the same size.
But this is an image of your ideal future self,
The reality that you are calling into you.
And so notice the details of this image.
Notice where you are,
Maybe who you're with.
Notice how you appear in the image.
And as you look at this beautiful color photo of your future self,
Tune in again to how your body is feeling.
Really notice the sensations that accompany this future ideal vision of you.
And because the current vision is still present,
You might struggle a little to connect with those future feelings in this first round,
But that's okay.
Just do your best.
And when you've had one more breath,
Looking at this beautiful image,
Just putting it aside.
And now I'd like you to pick up the black and white image again.
And this time you might notice that it is a little bit smaller than the last time.
And the black and white is a little bit less crisp.
It's a bit fuzzier.
But once again,
Just looking at the image of where you are,
Your fear,
The feeling of lack or scarcity or stuckness.
And noticing how that image feels in your body.
I'm just taking a few breaths to feel what this energetic space is like in your body.
And then once again,
I'd like you to maybe toss it to the side.
You know,
It's still within reach to pick up again,
But a little bit of a forceful,
No,
Throw that away.
We don't want that.
And then pick up your color photo again.
And notice that this time it is just a little bit bigger than it was last time.
And maybe there are some beautiful new details that are just a little bit more subtle.
And maybe there are some beautiful new details that are appearing in this image of your future self.
And as you look at this gorgeous color photo,
Noticing your posture and the expression your body and notice what it feels like to be immersed in this gorgeous future vision.
And as the excitement or the hope or the ease or the joy tingles through your body,
Maybe take another breath or so.
And then go ahead and place that image down beside you again.
And reaching for that black and white image that you threw away,
Go ahead and pick it back up.
And it's gotten significantly smaller.
Now it's more like the size of a postcard.
And it's starting to get grainy,
Almost like those old timey black and white photos.
The features are less distinct.
It's a bit harder to see those nuances of expression on your face or the details in the photo.
And as you look at this photo,
Representing where you feel stuck,
Where you are now,
The fear,
The scarcity.
As you tune into your body,
You might be noticing that the sensations there are not as vivid as they were before.
Much like the photo has become a bit grainier,
A bit smaller.
So to those feelings of scarcity and fear and lack in your body are less distinct.
You can still feel them,
But they feel less consuming.
And then this time I'd love for you to kind of crumple this photo a bit as you toss it to the side.
It's still within reach,
But now it's been kind of crumpled up.
You've thrown it away from you.
We are working towards releasing it entirely.
And then go ahead and pick up your color photo.
And it's getting really big.
You know,
It's a big portrait size in front of you.
Your hands are even wider apart as you hold both edges.
And the colors are so vibrant and beautiful.
You are radiant in this photo.
This vision of your future life,
Your future self,
Feels so real you could almost step into the picture.
And as you look at this picture,
As you imagine exactly how this future version of you feels,
Notice those sensations coursing through your body in this present moment.
Notice the feelings of lightness or ease,
Joy,
Love,
Whatever is coming up.
Those bubbly,
Higher vibration emotional states and letting them just course through your body.
You might notice that you're smiling here,
Too.
Take one more big breath as you look at this image.
And one more time,
I'm going to ask you to set it aside.
And then reaching for your slightly crumpled black and white photo,
Picking it up and smoothing it out in your hands,
Noticing it's about the size of a Polaroid now.
It's pretty tiny.
And much like a Polaroid that's been poorly developed,
It's pretty hard to see the details.
You can kind of make out yourself and whatever space you're in,
But it's hard to tell how you're really feeling or thinking.
And the emotional response is really,
Really muted,
If there's even any at all.
You might look at it kind of like a mirror,
But it's not really a mirror,
It's you might look at it kind of passively or with curiosity,
Much like you would if you discovered an old Polaroid of a stranger in a curiosity shop.
And whether or not any lingering lower vibration emotions remain,
Notice how you feel in your body.
And then with a conscious smile on your face,
I want you to rip that photo up into a bunch of pieces and toss them like confetti over your shoulders.
And then pick up your big,
Beautiful color photo once again.
It's so big now that you have to really hold your arms up and out in front of you,
The size of a poster board.
And the image is gorgeous.
See yourself,
That future version of you,
Wherever it is that you are seeing yourself.
Noticing all the details in the photo.
Every last beautiful detail.
And really tapping in here to how it feels to be that beautiful future version of yourself.
And again,
You might find yourself smiling without even noticing it.
Lean into that.
And as you notice the feelings that are coursing through your body,
Amplify them.
As you look at this image,
Allow yourself to really move into that energetic space.
And you can imagine yourself putting this image up on a wall somewhere in your space so that you can look at it any time you need.
Any time you need.
And to wrap up the practice is holding this beautiful,
Energetic sense in your body,
Present in your mind.
As you move back into your day,
Carrying this memory,
This emotional memory inside your body.
And knowing that if you end up picking back up that black and white image,
And it's gotten a bit too crisp and clear again,
If it becomes more like your lived reality again,
Just returning to this practice as often as you need.
You can return to this recording,
Or you can even quickly do this on your own.

This was not how I was taught the swish technique, and I didn’t really resonate with the technique they taught me, but I REALLY loved this version! Thank you!🙏🏻
