What's up you guys,
This is a guided meditation to cultivate a deep sense of awareness and acceptance for wherever you are in your life right now.
So find a comfortable orientation with your body.
Relax any tension you might be holding in your shoulders,
Your facial muscles.
Soften anywhere you can.
Bring your attention now to your breath.
Start to notice the physical sensations of breathing.
See if you can lengthen your inhales and deepen your exhales.
When you breathe in,
Chest expands.
As you breathe out,
Belly contracts.
Inhale you fill up.
Exhale you let it go.
Stay with this breath.
Use it as your anchor,
Your tether to stay moored in this present moment and allow yourself to rest.
There's so much going on in the world.
So much external stimulation,
Distractions,
Responsibilities,
People screaming for our attention,
Which is why it's so important to tune inwards.
I invite you now to tap into any emotional or mental feelings you might be experiencing.
Any problems,
Any difficulties,
Struggles.
Sit with those for a moment.
It's okay if they're painful.
It's okay if they're scary or sad.
It's okay if they make you a little bit anxious.
All of these feelings are welcome.
They're human.
Now breathe into wherever you feel these sensations.
Maybe it's your throat,
Your chest,
Your heart space.
See if you can send some breath and energy into these physical areas where you feel these emotions and feelings.
Can you send a little love?
Can you get a little curious?
This is the first step in any change or transformation.
So with whatever issue,
Problem,
Fear,
Worry that came to mind a few moments ago,
See if you can embrace it with a new sense of curiosity and compassion.
Can you see it from a different perspective?
Perhaps you can ask yourself what it is here to teach you instead of why is this happening to me?
What is this here to teach me?
What is the lesson?
Where is the opportunity?
Although it's trite,
It truly is not what happens to us,
But it's how we respond to what happens to us.
And so each moment,
Depending on how you respond,
Goes one way or it can go the other way.
So come back to that worry or fear,
Breathe into it,
Bring awareness to the physical sensations it's creating in your body,
And make a conscious decision to receive whatever it is fully and trust that you will grow,
That you will expand,
That you will come out stronger and better and bigger,
That this worry,
This fear,
This problem is what's going to propel you forward to the next level of your evolution and growth.
Everything is happening for us,
Even when it really doesn't feel like it.
And the logical response as well is to just accept everything exactly as it is,
Because fighting it only creates more friction and resistance and conflict and stress.
Now I say this because I'm going through it as well,
So please don't feel me preaching.
Lean in.
We all can lean in a little bit more,
Open our hearts a little bit more.
Be a little bit more curious,
Be a little bit more kind and forgiving.
Use that awareness to help you.
Use that awareness to shift you forward to a place of acceptance where you're not fighting whatever it is,
And you can move forward with grace,
Clarity,
And ease.
Whatever's happening is happening.
You have agency and control over what happens next.
So what do you want to happen next?
