Welcome to House of Wellbeing.
This guided meditation audio will use powerful techniques to help you sink into a deep state of relaxation.
So please be sure that wherever you're listening to this audio you're in a safe and comfortable place free from distractions where you can fully relax and let go.
Please make sure you're sitting or lying comfortably in a place where you're free from interruption where you can focus only on yourself and enjoy this time just for you.
Should you need to open your eyes at any time your subconscious mind will alert you and you'll easily come out of this beautiful state of relaxation.
But for now make sure your head is fully supported and that you're as comfortable as you can be as you gently close your eyes and begin your journey of enhanced physical and mental well-being.
Settle down into a comfortable position and gently close your eyes.
I want you to notice any muscle where you feel tension.
And then allow these muscles to relax.
And let go of any tension.
Feel the tension.
Hold it for five seconds.
And then let it go.
Feel any tension all the way from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
Allow your shoulders to sink into the frame of your body.
Feel any tension in your jaw as you release the tension and gently open your mouth.
All the time breathing in relaxation and calmness.
And breathing out tension,
Stress,
Worries or anxieties.
Allow your breath now to slow right down as you listen to my voice as I guide you through a journey of healing and calm.
We know that it's easy to stop noticing the world around us,
To lose touch with the way our bodies are feeling and to end up caught up in our thoughts without stopping to notice how those thoughts are driving our emotions and behaviour.
Becoming more aware of the present moment can help us enjoy the world around us and understand ourselves better.
You may find that by listening to this session you become focused and more mindful as your mind learns to be more aware of the here and now,
To be more present and to live your life deeply.
The more you practice listening to this session you will actually remodel the physical structure of your brain and you'll start to find it easy to bring awareness to your senses,
To your thoughts and emotions.
You realise you're not as overly reactive or overwhelmed by what's going on around you.
Perhaps you'll find that you can enjoy what's going on around you,
You absorb all the good things in your life and you truly appreciate all the little things.
Life can be fast moving where our brains are bombarded with external information.
From the moment we wake up to the moment we go to bed.
Perhaps you don't have time to stop and think.
Perhaps you're juggling multiple things or you simply want to be able to sharpen your thoughts and natural curiosity.
So imagine yourself now going about your daily life.
Imagine you're preparing breakfast but this time see yourself focusing entirely on what you're doing.
Your thoughts are focused and present.
You don't allow them to drift off.
You are in the here and now taking in every detail.
See yourself now going for a walk but this time you stop to look at a beautiful flower whilst on your walk.
Or you notice the way the sunshine bounces off the reflections of the dew in the morning grass.
Or perhaps you're simply walking downstairs and you notice the smooth feeling of the banister beneath your fingers.
From now on you take in the beauty and detail of your surroundings.
Perhaps you notice your breathing to help you focus your attention.
Long slow breaths in and out.
Filling your lungs and gently passively releasing as you exhale.
Like the sea gently washing up on a shore and slowly fading out again.
Notice how your breath brings you to a state of calm and peace.
Allowing your thoughts to be focused and still.
From now on in you take the time to experience your environment with all of your senses.
Touch,
Sound,
Sight,
Smell and taste.
Perhaps when eating your favourite food for example,
You decide to take the time to smell,
Taste and truly enjoy it.
No rushing.
No devouring.
You slowly enjoy each sensation as the food enters your mouth bite by bite.
You're paying attention to the moment.
You are present.
And as you do this,
You notice any judgements in your mind.
You make a mental note of them and let them pass.
You no longer allow your mind to get carried away in thought.
You are present in the moment.
If your thoughts do drift off,
You are kind to yourself and you gently bring them back again to the here and now.
The more you practice this the more your mind will train itself to focus.
The more you practice being present in this beautiful state of calm,
The more you realise that you are not your thoughts and you acknowledge that your thoughts are not as important as you used to think they were.
Each time you practice being mindful,
You learn something new.
Your self-awareness is heightened and you're more in tune with your surroundings.
Your mind becomes calm,
Clear and focused.
And you become far more relaxed and calm in mind and body.
You no longer find yourself catastrophizing about the future,
Allowing your worries to take hold.
You enjoy the freedom of letting them go and living in the present.
Old worries and concerns can simply flow through you now.
They have no place within you.
You are not your thoughts,
So you let them go.
All these positive messages are now firmly embedded in your subconscious mind and they'll grow stronger and stronger day by day.
Stronger by the day,
Stronger by the hour and stronger by the minute.
And when you're ready,
You'll gently emerge from your state of relaxation,
Open your eyes,
Feeling fully awake,
Refreshed and alert.
