So Hum is a Sanskrit mantra that each of us carries with us each moment of the day. “So” means “I” or “I am,” and “Hum” means “that” or “all that is.” It is a way of identifying oneself with the bigger picture- affirming oneness with all that is. Tuning in to the "so" sound of the inhale and the "hum" sound of the exhale, this meditation links breath and awareness, deepening the mind-body connection for greater presence and reduced stress.

Greetings.

So Hum is a Sanskrit mantra that each of us carries with us,

Each moment of the day.

So means I,

Or I am,

And Hum means that,

Or all that is.

It is a way of identifying oneself with the bigger picture,

Affirming oneness with all that is.

To practice the So Hum meditation and discover the Always Present mantra,

Pause where you are right now and align your posture.

Close your eyes and notice sensations of the breath at the tip of the nose.

Guide that awareness down to the chest center and down to the navel.

Now back to the throat.

Notice sensations of the breath in the throat.

Keeping your focus there,

Tuning in to the sound So as you inhale and Hum as you exhale.

Continue breathing and listening.

So Hum.

I am that.

I am wisdom.

I am purpose.

I am courage.

I am focus.

I am flexibility.

I am balance.

I am effortlessness.

I am joy.

I am a child of source.

I am a soul.

That is the reality of me and my true nature.

So Hum.

I am that.

So Hum.

The Always Present mantra that accompanies every breath.

So Hum.

Come back to it again and again.
