Dear Tooth,
It's time for you to leave my body.
I've explored all the other options and waited as long as I could,
Hoping and wishing there could be another way,
But finally I accept that letting you go is the best,
Perhaps the only decision left at this time.
Thank you,
Tooth,
For trying so hard to stay whole while embodying my struggles.
I'm sorry that it's time to say goodbye to you,
That all other alternatives have been exhausted.
I forgive you for not being stronger,
For being unable to carry on,
And I forgive myself and everyone else involved for all that has led to this moment.
Tooth,
I release you with love.
I give up your physical presence in my mouth and I release the emotional burden you have carried for me.
Dear Tooth,
I put aside my reluctance and resistance so as to loosen the ligaments that have held you in place for so long.
I open up space in my gums for you to slip out as easily as spitting a watermelon seed on a warm summer's afternoon.
Your roots separate effortlessly now from the bedrock of my jaw.
The dentist will wonder at how easy you are to lift at the slightest tug you slip away,
Leaving nothing behind but a fast healing memory and space for a new beginning.
Dear Tooth,
I will ask the dentist to put you in a little bag for me to bring you home outside of my body for the first time and when I have completed the restorative rest which makes this a transformational portal of healing,
I will take you somewhere beautiful and give you up to the earth or the sea or gift you into fire or fresh water.
I will say thank you and goodbye once more,
Knowing that Mother Earth will absorb you,
Welcoming home your mineral substance to feed the life that will grow over you.
Dear Tooth,
I am going to feel so free as my mouth heals.
I'll be smiling widely,
Laughing loudly,
Boldly speaking my truth.
Tooth,
I will honour the hard work that you have done for me.
I will honour you by living my life to the fullest,
Unhindered by silences,
Secrets or suppressed emotions.
I stand tall with my feet on the earth,
Absorbing your transformed Tooth energy.
I feel so different than when you were released from my mouth.
You are completely transmuted into freedom and truth,
Pleasure and power.
I'm absorbing that transmuted energy up through the soles of my feet,
Feeling it in my body,
In my bones,
Feeling it in my mouth,
Where my other teeth and gums have been freed from the burden of your struggles and entered an exponential state of healing of their own.
Dear Tooth,
It is time for you to leave my body.
Thank you Tooth for trying so hard to stay whole.
I give up your physical presence in my mouth and honour the life you shared with me until now.
Tooth,
I release you with love and step through the portal of healing that you have opened.
