Gentle reminders,
Devotional meditations.
We are all navigating some enormous shifts and some of us even experiencing life-altering blows and highs.
That too is a gift.
Though the package may be unfamiliar,
Probably not a preference either.
However,
A gift.
And each day,
In all transparency,
As a practitioner myself,
I do my best to be vulnerable,
Not just for the external audience or my clients or my community,
But to be vulnerable with myself.
And in these moments of vulnerability,
I find comfort and grace and kindness.
There's light shed on the areas where I am not so kind to myself.
These gentle reminders are hidden throughout the day,
Throughout my body,
Throughout my postures,
Throughout the conversation I have when no one's around.
And so I'm here to serve and give you an offering to take inventory yourself.
We have so much capacity for the things that do not serve us,
For the things that pain us,
For the things that grieve us.
We give it so much attention.
And in what we give attention that actually doesn't lift us.
It takes away from where we could expand,
What actually fills us,
What brings us joy,
What expands us.
And so I challenge you today in your practice and in your devotion to ask yourself,
Are the words that I speak to myself aligned with my core desires?
Am I expanding myself with the thoughts that I think?
Do I feel charged and anchored by the way that I nourish myself,
By the way that I care for myself?
What food nourishment,
What am I feeling myself with so that I feel the highest vibration,
So that I feel optimal,
So that I am living quality with less attention or quantity?
I trust that you will allow yourself to unravel and unwind.
Besides,
It's just you.
There's nobody to judge you.
There's no one to compare.
Just you.
And you owe it to yourself to sit with yourself and feel your own energy.
That alone gives us insight on what we are filling others with.
Gratitude for these spaces.
Take a breath with me,
Cleansing breath in the nose and out the nose.
Tell your nervous system that you are safe,
That you are loved,
That you are essential.
And you are here.
All is well.
All is coming.
